What's New in SchoolMessenger

1.10.10

December 10, 2025

Thank you for using the SchoolMessenger App! This update includes a couple of minor back end changes to support future releases.

User reviews

Not user friendly

Poor usability, needs better defaults, needs 1/2 day option, needs arrives late option, and when you choose the student and full/multiple day, the date is blank. Terrible app!!

5 star🤩🤩

Very helpful, sends messages at the right time! Very organized. The best! 5 star🤩

Terrible

Cannot get into my account at all! I don’t receive emails for the MFA. Yes, I check my spam and my trash folders. Yes, I have reviewed my email account settings to ensure that no one is blocked from sending me messages. Super frustrating!

Busted!!

Lets me know if my kids tryin to skip! Keeps me up to date on all the things going on at the school. Easy to let the school know if your kid has to leave or come back to the school. Great app!!

Not enough options

There’s no option for if my kid is at school, but arrived late. The only options I have are “full day”, “early departure”, “leave & return”, or “multiple day”.

What are the key features of the SchoolMessenger app?

Key features include an easy-to-read inbox for all notifications and messages, a scrollable view to review past communications, detailed preference controls for managing notification settings, and push notifications for immediate alerts. It also supports two-way messaging between teachers, parents, and students if the school or district has enabled this feature.
