Extremely buggy and requires reconnection every couple weeks
I bought BrizLabs string lights a couple months ago, and at first they worked great and could connect to Alexa. However, there seems to be some kind of update every couple weeks that messes with the connection, requires me to reset the lights to repair, and requires me to disconnect and reconnect to Alexa (which is extremely confusing to do btw because the app just says “already paired” with Alexa when it clearly doesn’t work. And now, after whatever most recent update they pushed, my lights have disconnected again and now are unable to repair with my device. The lights didn’t even come with a remote, so I have no way to remotely control the lights because it cannot connect to the app on my phone. I don’t recommend this brand and would suggest you purchase from a more reliable brand.

Buggy App
If it’s not buggy for you now it will be later. Randomly text wont appear, I bought two to the same lights, works fine at first, then the app bugs out and says it won’t connect. I tried removing and adding the device back again to get it to work, then it keeps saying provision failed. I had to reinstall the app and sign in again to get the first string of lights I got to work, then with the second set I got, it pairs perfectly, but then the device says it’s offline and won’t connect when the other exact same set of lights works fine. The lights are so cute and the modes are nice, but the app functionality needed to get this to work is abysmal.

actually the worst leds ever
always bugging, scenes are dimmer no matter what you do, the color matching sucks, and the app sucks.
Connectivity is terrible
I love my lights but hate how they connect. Every other week I have to disconnect them from my app and reconnect which is a chore in and of itself. However, now they are completely useless as I am unable to get them connected to my app again. Highly disappointed.

I literally can’t log in. Error every time.
Garbage
If you can, stay away from this app. The lights themselves are on but the app is total trash. Animations like timings don’t work and support is nonexistent.
Great holiday presets and powerful DIY
The holiday color schemes in the BrizLabs app are excellent, and the DIY features are even better. Creating custom scenes is simple and intuitive, and everything runs smoothly. Highly recommended if you like changing your lights for every holiday.

Okay.. help!
When you have more than 6 strings on your power adapter for your “100ft lights”, it doesn’t allow it? Most houses are bigger than 6 strings! We bought 3 boxes of these to put on our house. I then go to the app and there’s no way to adjust the string amount on the app? I measured the amount of wattage that 6 strings pulls, there is no way your power adapter isn’t capable of pushing more wattage for LED bulbs. Can you please put the option to adjust the amount of strings on your app, we do not live in a small shed, nor do most people that buy these strings!

Not the worst, but still pretty bad
Some of the lights still work on it - everything is clunky, lights get automatically removed from the device at random intervals, and it doesn’t appear possible to add them back/reset the lights - meaning their smart functionality is more or less one time use. It also clearly has to be stealing and selling your personal information, right?

Spotty App at Best
Scheduling lights hasn’t worked, nor do Alexa commands unless I say it 3-4 times. The music connection is useless and not actually synced up and the ability to change the color of the lights isn’t as custom as I expected. Had these lights for about two weeks and I’m not impressed.

The app seems good. However missing more pre-made schemes / animations viz. Halloween, Christmas, Fire cracker, which we see in other good brands.
Request is to please add those basic but yet essential schemes (as it won’t be possible to make in DIY).

My neighbor recommended this smart light for me. The lighting is beautiful. The APP directly controls the string light, has all the colors I want, and has a complete range of functions.
