The doesn’t work for me

The app won’t let me log in or create an account. I’ve been trying all day. Super disappointing

Cannot connect

Tried to create a new account. Says that a confirmation code has been sent. Checked email and spam folders over and over and there is nothing. Without that you can’t use the app. Called Broil King and they said the app developer would call me.

Extraordinarily frustrating

I worked for the military for 20 years, and their systems are not nearly as secure as my grill is. Change phones and cannot reset my password to get on with my new phone. Will only download from the cloud and therefore will not let me delete and re-install. I have no idea why a pellet grill needs this level of security but I am now concerned that if I punch the wrong buttons I will launch some nuclear strike elsewhere in the world.

I just want to grill.

Basic but helpful

I was able to get connected via Bluetooth and WiFi pretty easily. Sometimes if I try to set the temp with app it doesn’t stick, not sure what I’m doing wrong. There’s essentially no help or information on how to use the app.

I was hoping I could start the grill remotely, looks like you have to manually press the button to turn it on. You can adjust the temp (maybe) and turn it off with the app.

But- you can quickly check the temps from your phone without having to be next to the grill, which is the most important part. So that woks.

I’d love to see a graph recording the cook and the food temps over time. I haven’t used the alerts yet but I’m hoping the meat probes will be able to send alerts via the app when food is ready.

An Apple Watch widget that would let you quickly eyeball the temps would be amazing.

Doesn’t work

I was so excited to have this app so I could keep an eye on things and be inside. Had issues creating an account and then once we did it would not connect to bbq. Not getting temperatures and it keeps saying the bbq is off. We are standing next to it with WiFi and blue tooth turned on.
