App doesn’t work
No matter what kind of payment I try to do, with every kind of card, the app has a payment error every single time. Totally useless and disappointing since I’d rather order on the app instead of wait in the line. 👎🏼

I love Brooklyn Bagel, but can you please add egg options for the butter and jelly bagels? I love the butter and jelly bagels with ham and egg but always have to walk in if I want to order this
Horrible App!!!
Crashes, does not allow orders to process/get placed. Once you try to place an order it either crashes or you receive an error message to “please try again later.” Constant error pop ups. Worst order app I’ve ever encounter. Do not waist your time or sanity, order from any of the other 1,000 bagel restaurants in the city!

I love bk bagels. Their butter and jelly sandwich is one of my go-to menu. But I always have to go order in person for this one because I can’t find scrambled eggs options for the butter and jelly sandwich section. Please consider having these or add butter and jelly options to eggs sandwiches.

I don’t think I’ve used a restaurant app that is so detailed and clear as this Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee app.
It’s also very user-friendly in its response messages and directions, without being overly cluttered or confusing.

Store never sees orders from app
You’re better off ordering from Grubhub/Seamless because they see those orders come through. It’s been a hassle every time I’ve used their proprietary app which is a bit counterintuitive. Also the UI of their app is terrible compared to Grubhub. Deleting their app and sticking with Grubhub.
APP WORKS, AVOID LONG LINES!
I’m not sure what people are complaining about...the app works. It’s powered by ChowNow so they obviously have experience in user interface w/respect to food-ordering apps. It works fine, I’m able to place my order ahead of time, get ready for work, stop at the store on my way and pick up the order from a shelf without having to talk to anybody. What else could you possibly want?

Convenient, Fast, Essential
The Brooklyn Bagel in Chelsea is incredibly popular, with a long line most hours of the day. This app works flawlessly, allowing me to skip the line and pickup at my convenience. The estimated pickup time is appreciated, and always pretty accurate.

Not good for customizing orders
This app is set up very poorly. For a bagel it should be easier to just add things. You have to choose a pre-setup section like cream cheese or eggs and add from there. I couldn’t find an option for just avocado so I had to go into the store and wait on the long line.

Faster to just go to the store and order. The support number goes to spectrum.
Don’t bother with the app. Bagels will take over an hour
Been a long time fan of BK bagel in Astoria and have been disappointed over and over again with the app. They’ll take forever to fill a basic order. Since they’ve updated to their new ordering / app system service has been terrible. Shouldn’t take over an hour to fulfill a dozen mixed bagels and 2 sandwiches. Plus, got the order wrong and only realized after I left the store. Save your phone space for something better.

Awful if you actually want your food
I had to wait 45 minutes for an egg sandwich. I ordered at 11:18 and and it wasn’t ready until 12:03. Everyone me who came into the store while I was waiting received their food before me. If ordering online is meant to speed the process along then this app is a miserable failure.
Fixes needed
Ordered for the first time today and ran into a number of issues. The first few two times I put in my CC to order, I got an “invalid total” error (my total was $5 and change). I then added my CC via the account settings and tried submitting the order again and it worked. But then it refreshed to the home screen; no receipt/order confirmation, no notification to my phone or email - nothing. The only reassurance I had was that my CC was charged. I never got a notification once it was ready, either, I just kept checking the pickup location. If you can just get a notification for order confirmation/pickup estimate and order ready, it’d be a million times better as an app experience.
