2.0

Brown Sign 2.0 is a full redesign, built around getting you to a sign faster and telling you more once you find one. The Scan tab now opens straight into a live camera. The viewfinder is ready the moment you arrive, so you can frame the sign and shoot without anything getting in the way first. Nearby is richer. Tap a landmark on the map and you get a real card now: its photo, how far away it is, a rough walk time, and one tap to open the details or get directions, all without leaving the map. Pins gather into neat clusters as you pan across a region, then split back apart as you zoom in. History groups your finds by day, so the place you saw last weekend is easy to come back to. And the whole app got a fresh coat of paint: green for the things you tap, brown for the Brown Sign identity, larger rounded cards, and a redrawn signpost throughout.

I used this app recently on a trip to Ticonderoga. I found all the historical places in town and en route to my destination. Great find!

Amazing and Useful!

This app is intuitive to use and is great for anyone who enjoys historical sites or just being outside in general. I have lived in Connecticut my whole life and his app showed me places I had no idea existed.

So Good for Road Trips

Always wondered what those brown highway signs were pointing to.

Scanned a few on a drive down to Georgia and boom — instant answers, plus a preview so I know if a stop is worth it. Super easy to use. Love it.

Very informative and interesting.

I found the app to be very interesting even when I’m not out on the road. Just the ability to browse and find different landmarks and interesting areas to visit in my surroundings, definitely stirs my desire to get out and hit the road and see what’s in my immediate surroundings. I found this app to be extremely easy to navigate and understand and very intuitive.
