Hi. I appreciate you trying out the app. But I feel it important to prevent the spread of misinformation. The app does not have any telemetry or tracking whatsoever. It’s a stance I feel strongly about as I think it’s a genuine problem with other apps. When you launch the app, it pulls down all the headlines and links directly from our server. There is no ongoing tracking happening. Once you click on an article and load the web page for it, we cannot control what trackers the external websites put into their pages. This might be what you’re seeing, but I assure you that it is not us and is also beyond our control. The same thing happens as you surf the web. But we absolutely do not have any tracking in our app whatsoever. Full stop. We strongly believe in privacy.

All I need and nothing more
I also sincerely appreciate the distinction of performing “local” AI summaries. I’m accepting on faith that the inferencing is happening on my device rather than some data center, and if that’s actually the case… pretty dope feature for a particular news article that I don’t have the time at the moment to give my full attention, or to just provide context as I read.
Anywho, I don’t know what else to expound on other than it’s all I need in a news aggregator and nothing more. If I could offer one critique, I think it might be cool to be able to traverse the news tabs via swiping left/right
