Had to uninstall the app

Never had a cyber threat before installing this app. All the app does on my iPhone 15 is the drain the battery quickly and to cause my phone to get hot. Therefore I’ve uninstalled this app.

Needs improvement

Works just like it’s Norton 360 counterpart which I have used for years. However, this “BT” version of the app is a MASSIVE battery hog and has major performance issues. It’s like it’s still in beta and hasn’t been tested. This needs sorting out asap please!!!!!

Crashes as soon as I try to open it

Crashes immediately. Can’t say nay more than that

Excellent

Always had Norton 360 & VPN on my devices & MacBook which a love but now BT have added it for free for their customers I’m absolutely delighted thank you BT for the fantastic added extra, the app is no different from the Norton app itself. Happy customer

Fails after log in

The app doesn’t work but just produces a server error same as BT website. Does this mean BT customers have no virus protection any more or is it just me?

Peace of mind

The AI genie feature is nice. I tested it with a Royal Mail scam and just uploaded a photo and it correctly identified it as a scam

Needs Improvement

I have tried this on both my iPhone and iPads , all devices are running OS26.4.2. The main issue that I had was the Safe web feature seemed to be interrupting by WiFi connection . Speedtests would not run, it just said Network unstable, the BBC news app wouldn’t load and the native apple email kept saying Network offline. If I went into the iPhone settings, VPN and turned off the auto connect on the BT safe web browser it fixed the issues, although the safe web browser would not then work . I then tried closing the app and reopening , but when I did this the Menu tab was just blank. I have now deleted the app off all devices but will try again in a few weeks . I do have BT virus protection on my Mac and that works fine and the addition of the identity protect feature is excellent. Just an update, since the launch of the App version 27.7.1, the app seems to be working fine and all the issues mentioned above are resolved.
