Zero stars! The app is useless!

Chauvet makes amazing lighting but they can do some silly things! This BT air technology was one of them! I don’t even right reviews but I spent enough money with them to show my disappointment. The app is trash and never pairs properly. I only use my lights now for static color applications! Thanks chauvet for nothing!!

Playback organizer is so buggy!

My honestly only real complaint is when organizing playback page it acts like when you move a preset it will just push everything over and you squeeze the new one in between. But then when you drop the preset it that spot it actually just swaps it with the original preset in that spot, moving the original down to the bottom since that’s where new presets go automatically.

Why even have the animation of it working how it should then completely disregard the layout when you drop the preset. Makes no sense. If you have any rhyme or reason to your layout it’s extremely easy to disorganize everything then it takes forever redoing it as you have to manually swap them all one by one until they fall in the correct order again. Please fix this….

Perfect for changing colors

This works great for all of my needs with my B3BT’s, it would be better if it could control me EZPar-56’s or the regular Par-56’s, or possible my moving heads, but I like using it!

Need slower fade speed

Even on the slowest setting the colors change too fast.

Is this the best you can do BT air?

This app really is a mess. You have to delete and re-and delete and re-add and sometimes you get all the lights. Sometimes you don't for seven lights. It has been crazy. I think we may get five. Somethings wrong with this and they need to fix whatever bugs are in it.

app dont work

Dont work with the latest os .

Really? Only one FIXED color? No saved or presets?

This app doesn’t need much to make it great. The biggest (and silliest) issue I can see is that you cannot save ‘FIXED’ colors. It would be so useful to be able to save a couple of basic preset colors rather than have to go into the color wheel/slider part and manually adjust EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Even just a couple of saved FIXED colors. Heck, even a ‘back’ button to go back to the prior one you were using.
If you want to get fancy, an option to transfer with crossfade from one fixed color to another would be perfect but I’d take just a basic switch.

PLEASE READ THIS AND UPDATE!

Hate this app

Seriously awful and developers don’t care about improving their product.

Many companies have terrible user apps for wireless products particularly DJ’s are taking note.

I’m going to start boycotting Chauvet. We spend tens of thousands of dollars on equipment and EXPECT IT TO WORK!

Rubbish app

Doesn’t let you pair. Need to work on bugs.

Totally unreliable

Sometimes it works, sometimes it’s completely useless. iOS updates seem to affect it badly too and it hasn’t been updated for 11 months. Pretty poor show

It’s ok. Disconnects often

We use this for “house lighting” at church and to change mood/atmosphere. The problem with the lights disconnect from the app a couple times during the service (1hour) and has to be rebooted. Every service.

BTAir App

Definitely needs some improvement with its connectivity. I always have to repair the lights to the app and it takes a long time to connect to each light. Pleas please please get this app updated.

Disappointing

While I understand this is not supposed to be a main control hub for full time use. I work full time as a content creator for a company as well as a self employed creator. And my colorband40’s are on multiple shoots, live streams and miscellaneous productions. I now am faced with needing to look into a 3rd party dmx controller because the app consistently crashes on my iPhone 13 Pro. If I understand correctly, this app was designed for people like me. And the unreliable app has created consistent challenges in my professional life.

Unusable

Was really hoping when buy a set of three colorbands that for the price the app would give me basic functionality. Was very dissatisfied and immediately sent them back

Needs to be fixed!!!

CRASHES 80% OF THE TIME - UNRELIABLE!!!

No funciona la opción Chases

no funciona la opción zone chase, creo que es un efecto importante para que la aplicación funcione al 100, espero que se pueda corregir para usar mi iluminación de forma más profesional.

App Feature Request

I use my iPad for lyrics & chord notes. The app doesn’t run in the background, so if I want to view my PDF, the foot switch doesn’t change scenes.

Please ask the developers to explore this feature of allowing control if the app is running in the background.

Other than that, we dig it! Very easy and straightforward!

Ok app but room for improvement

App stability is ok but not great. For chases, being able to type in a bpm to control the speed (instead of a slider with an arbitrary scale) would be extremely useful for DJs, bands, and installs in bars, clubs, etc.

Needs investment

Chauvet wants customers to invest in new products but they walk away. 1 app update in 2 years? App shuts down at times, can’t access the bulk of the lights features, controls rarely work correctly, can’t erase colors and start fresh etc

Worst name / icon ever

Can you please update this to something that at least hints about its purpose, or at least manufacturer? BTAir is such a pointless waste of a name.
