Quality

Super impressed with all that’s supported. It’s really quality/dependable. Would love some IU/UX refinements in the settings/payments/loading screens to make it feel more like an iOS app but the mixing tools are great considering the screen real estate and everything that has to pack in.

Midas 32

Why do you have to do mute enable to mute and unmute channels. Also have to go to fx to mute the fx

The Single best tool for Live Audio Techs to have on their device

This is one of the most incredibly well designed apps made by a solo dev in the history of mankind. It is consistently updated, almost entirely bug free, and it allows precise and flexible control over most common Digital Audio Consoles.

Most of these consoles have their own app, but Mixing Station improves upon every single one of them to the point that I don’t think I’ve used any other app in almost 5 years now. This app even adds functionality that doesn’t exist on some consoles and apps. The developer is a saint, and the price for board licenses is completely reasonable for any professional in the audio field.

What are the key features of Mixing Station?

Key features include a fully customizable UI with unlimited layers and layouts, the ability to create unlimited DCAs, RTA overlays, channel linking, gain reduction history, peak hold for meters, MIDI support, and feedback detection. Many advanced features are available depending on the connected mixer model.

Is Mixing Station free to use?

You can fully test the app without purchasing a license. However, to unlock all features and use it without restrictions, an end-user license agreement needs to be accepted, which implies a purchase or subscription model for full functionality.

What mixers are compatible with Mixing Station?

The app supports a broad range of digital mixers from manufacturers like Behringer (X32, M32, XAir, WING), Midas (HD96), Allen & Heath (dLive, Avantis, GLD, iLive, CQ, SQ, Qu), PreSonus (StudioLive3), Soundcraft (Si, Vi, Ui), Mackie (DL series), Yamaha (DM3, DM7, TF), and TASCAM (Sonicview).
