License not recognized despite purchase
I purchased the license for Mixing Station to control my Allen & Heath SQ-7, and it shows as loaded on my iPad, but every time I try to sign in and connect to the console, the app tells me I need to purchase a license. I’ve already paid for it — this is clearly a bug, not a licensing issue on my end. I run sound for a community theatre and can’t afford unreliable software mid-production. Until this gets fixed, I can’t recommend this app for professional use.

Better than many factory apps
If you need to operate different brands/models of digital mixers, Mixing Station does a great job of making the workflow more consistent. I also found that it overcame some of my main complaints about the user experience provided by Behringer and A&H mixers. I only needed to deal with a few mixer models so I opted for the one-time purchase of the licenses I needed. The price seems reasonable since the developers aren’t getting revenue from selling mixers.
My only quibble is that purchasing licenses seems a bit clunkier than it should be. But getting the licenses to work on my other tablets was seamless.

They say 4 devices. They don’t tell you it’s limited to IOS or Android, but not both.
Quality
Super impressed with all that’s supported. It’s really quality/dependable. Would love some IU/UX refinements in the settings/payments/loading screens to make it feel more like an iOS app but the mixing tools are great considering the screen real estate and everything that has to pack in.

The Single best tool for Live Audio Techs to have on their device
This is one of the most incredibly well designed apps made by a solo dev in the history of mankind. It is consistently updated, almost entirely bug free, and it allows precise and flexible control over most common Digital Audio Consoles.
Most of these consoles have their own app, but Mixing Station improves upon every single one of them to the point that I don’t think I’ve used any other app in almost 5 years now. This app even adds functionality that doesn’t exist on some consoles and apps. The developer is a saint, and the price for board licenses is completely reasonable for any professional in the audio field.

I really like this app and all of the functionality with being able to rearrange sliders and pretty much you can customize most everything in this app.
It would be nice to have more themes. Like a rock theme or a jazz theme, super hero theme etc.
Compared to the other apps this one is the best and doesn’t lock up.

Better than most manufacturers apps
Truly the best mixing app for iPad or Android. The ability to customize the app is fantastic, it has really great features such as re-gain. It’s more powerful and capable than most of the manufacturers default apps they provide with their mixers
Poor Customer Support
I bought the Everything package for 1 year and was supposed to be able to share the licenses with 4 phones. I purchased it in March, contacted customer support multiple times, and still haven’t gotten an answer that solved my problems. I play 70-80 shows a year, and dealing with this before every show has become a nightmare.
PS. I asked for a refund to repurchase the app, to possibly reset the subscription, and they refused. Very disappointed.

The only app I recommend for Behringer units
David does a phenomenal job keeping this thing up to date and adds new mixers as he can. Dude is super chill and helpful to end users that just don’t comprehend things completely. This app is the only one I recon for users of the the XR-18 and several other models. There are others but this one is pretty easy to use and understand. Before you leave a bad review on a prod you don’t entirely understand, YouTube a little or reach out to groups and try to understand it better before you assume a product isn’t working as intended.
Love the app, use it weekly and licensing is not a huge cost. God bless bro, keep the awesome updates coming!
