User reviews

No iPad version

It’s ridiculous that no one at Roland thought to enhance this app to have a layout that works for iPads, like the desktop versions rather than the scaled up phone version we’re stuck with at the moment.

Landscape orientation is a must

I have my iPad in a fixed position on stage running a bunch of music apps that work best in landscape - yours needs to work in that mode as well!

GREAT APP BUT NEEDS BIG UPDATE

I have the GTk Core, yes I had to buy the $50 Widi jack from a third party, which was super odd to not be built in , I digress. The app connects easily and is a simple and intuitive interface. There’s many ways to adjust each control or setting (swiping, typing in, tapping.) This is the best way to get the most out of BTS as connecting to a computer is a hassle. The giant issue with all BTS apps is that there is NO LANDSCAPE view so using on an iPad really lacks the benefits of the screen size.. BOSS either needs to make a specific iPad version or give this one an update to support Landscape to really sell out the stadium. Will update to 5⭐️ when landscape view is incorporated.

Good potential but

Having owned this for six years now, this is a finicky app. Most common issue is being able to connect to via Bluetooth in the first place Updates seem to break the connectivity and if you get a new phone, it’s a mess. This app could be so good.

Functional

Needs an iPad version with proper scaling but works well. Import export is very slow - wondering if there’s a problem with the Bluetooth interface? A cut and paste function will be great for the next update.
