App trava e não funciona no IOS 17

Abandonware

It used to work, but Roland has exited the business and all their software is going obsolete. The remote app crashes on modern versions of iPadOS, the REAC driver does not run on modern versions of Windows, and the V-Mixer MIDI implementation is not publicly documented for anybody else to write control software.

The serial interface is documented, but it’s much less bandwidth with much less useful information than the MIDI interface, and also the mixing console’s firmware is buggy. The device does not comply with the specification.

A great idea gone bad and unsupported

I’ve used the app for years with an ad-hoc network. The M480 remote is now completely unreliable. It works in part but is so buggy it has become unusable. Roland has completely left the sound mixer business and those of us who invested tens of thousands of dollars in what used to be be a flagship are left with zero support. Roland has left a nasty taste in our mouths.

What Roland M-480 parameters can I control with the app?

You can control channel parameters like Preamp Gain, Pan, Solo, Mute, Fader, Sends on Fader, and 4-Band Parametric EQ. Bus parameters such as Pan, Solo, Mute, Fader, and 4-Band Parametric EQ are also controllable, along with graphic or parametric EQ and scene management.
