Constant ad pop up

The content seemed ok..I only got to read one page, when I clicked on any other link an ad would pop up for discounted travel. It was unavoidable so I deleted the app within 5 mins of downloading

Một cái app tên Phật giáo mà vào chưa thấy tính năng gì để sử dụng được mà xem sơ sơ một vài mục đã đòi nâng cấp mới cho xem. Đề nghị xoá app khỏi appstore để khỏi làm ảnh hưởng đến đạo Phật

Its a shame.
There are People out there wanting to learn things about this religion and you guys charge them money for some travel tips pretty pictures and stuff like this.
Don’t download this app it’s a rip off!
I’m really disappointed..

Paying for a Buddhist app?

It makes me worry when I see charges for a Buddhist app that possibly there is mostly copy and paste information that can be easily found online. I don’t know if this is just taking advantage of advertising for hotels maybe?

Do Not Waste Your Time

In the free version you only get the introduction and life of Buddha both of which contain general information you could find ANYWHERE. Doing a quick google search will save you time and a headache. On top of that while you are trying to read in the app, a prompt will pop up automatically multiple times to ask you to pay for the full version. It’s just as annoying as an actual ad and makes it almost impossible to read what little information that is available in the free version.

Wants u to upgrade before content

I downloaded this App with great anticipation and then great disappointment. Click on any subject and it immediately wants you to upgrade and pay. So this is real Buddhist suffering. No access to content, only an upgrade.

Pay for Full

I opened the app and within 10 seconds it asked me to buy the full version. I read the introduction page, then followed with a second “article” but couldn’t read it because I need the full version. Needless to say, for an app about buddhism, materialism is strong with it. Asking for money like that without giving me a chance to explore. Better off just practicing online for free, or buying a book with more information, more guidance, and no catches.

Change the Price from free to $2.99

Apps take a lot of time and resources to create so we understand having to pay a little fee, however, do not mislead us into thinking that we are actually getting something by downloading the app for free.

I am happy to have all of this information in one place it is a nice resource.

Application bien faite mais...

L’application est belle, bien faite et ergonomique. Les textes sont claire et détailler, la traduction est franchement (pour le français) parfaite mais !

Tout, ou presque, nous oblige à payer pour passer à la version pro

Encore une application frustrante qui force à payer et qui prend de cours les utilisateurs.
J’aurais bien payer les quelques euros pour la version complète si on m’avait clairement indiquer que la version gratuite n’était la que pour permette aux gens de ce faire une idée du contenu.

Even if you look at the app store page, it says that the app contains In App Purchases and it shows a price for each one of them.
