I love the comics. They’re always so positive and the music is so calming. This game… nope. I thought it was going to be a relaxing, zen experience. There are timers, and I’ve been stuck on level 31 for a couple of days and it just added to my stress. I’ll keep reading the comics but this app is gonna go.

Buddy gator tiles
I love this game so much i could play it for hours some levels are hard to beat but its the best game ever than the other games that i have downloaded before the other ones are not that fun to plag
Cute game!
I follow the artist of buddy gator on IG and when I saw they had released a game, I had to try it out. There are ads, but they don’t bombard you after every level the way other apps do, which is a big plus for continuing to play.
The game has a Mahjong feel to it, but in Buddy Gator you can match any tiles that are lit up instead of being restricted by neighboring tiles.
So far I think the game is very cute and you understand right away that you are supposed to match the pictures.
A few things I think could be improved, is providing either a small tutorial or letting the players know when “Game Over” is coming. I’ve played 20 levels and found that if the matching bar at the bottom fills up, it’s “Game Over”. Or if the star bar at the top empties it will be “Game Over”.
But I do like that when you fail the level you have the option to continue by either watching a 30 sec video or paying 100 coins to continue.
As you progress through the game you get more characters on the board. And it gets a little harder to match the tiles. Which I enjoy; having a little challenge is good.
