I love the comics. They’re always so positive and the music is so calming. This game… nope. I thought it was going to be a relaxing, zen experience. There are timers, and I’ve been stuck on level 31 for a couple of days and it just added to my stress. I’ll keep reading the comics but this app is gonna go.

Buddy gator tiles
I love this game so much i could play it for hours some levels are hard to beat but its the best game ever than the other games that i have downloaded before the other ones are not that fun to plag
Cute game!
I follow the artist of buddy gator on IG and when I saw they had released a game, I had to try it out. There are ads, but they don’t bombard you after every level the way other apps do, which is a big plus for continuing to play.
The game has a Mahjong feel to it, but in Buddy Gator you can match any tiles that are lit up instead of being restricted by neighboring tiles.
So far I think the game is very cute and you understand right away that you are supposed to match the pictures.
A few things I think could be improved, is providing either a small tutorial or letting the players know when “Game Over” is coming. I’ve played 20 levels and found that if the matching bar at the bottom fills up, it’s “Game Over”. Or if the star bar at the top empties it will be “Game Over”.
But I do like that when you fail the level you have the option to continue by either watching a 30 sec video or paying 100 coins to continue.
As you progress through the game you get more characters on the board. And it gets a little harder to match the tiles. Which I enjoy; having a little challenge is good.

Needs more Buddy Gator
Please add a happy Gator comic/animation when you when beat a level. Only seeing the characters interact when I lose is creating negative associations. Also, please get rid of the that little hand that points to the power-ups or whatever you call them. I try to play without using those and that little hand is distracting. Thanks!

Excellent but a few bugs in game design
Fun game, challenging in the later stages too. Can’t wait for more levels. My only complaint is the treasure points. If you go back to play earlier levels and don’t get the full 3 stars you previously warned, they subtract from your total. Seems terribly odd. I let my niece play and now I have negative 13 points. Game design is faulty in that sense. Also wish there wasn’t a delay in the end screen buttons popping up. Kind of annoying.

Very relaxing
I love this game. The comics on Instagram are cute and this game did not disappoint. Very cute. The music is so relaxing. Great way to wind down the day.

I love the game so far, it is fun and the experience is very smooth! I would like to let the developers know that the star icon presented when clearing a level is very low resolution and is cut off at the edge

I really love these comics and it’s one of the very least things that can bring a smile on me so when I found out I immediately downloaded it and the game is really just the same, calming

Addictive game but…
I wish the video ad option either gets removed or it could function properly because it gives a message “No video available” so I cannot collect prizes or extra coins. Other than that I love the game!

Love Buddy Gator
I love these comics so I’m happy there’s a fun little puzzle game. So far, so good. No complaints
Cute but times out too fast
This is a good pattern recognition game and very cute but once you get into the 20+ levels, it starts timing out so that you can’t finish levels. There are no timers or any way to tell when this is going to happen. Four stars for concept and cuteness and because I like the comic artist, but this clearly needs a little more work. I could have solved some of the levels and advanced if it didn’t continue timing out faster the further I got.
