Overdraft notice
Our bank has been Buena Vista National Bank for over 50 years. we have always gotten our loans through them, paid off those loans and depended on the quality of their friendly banking business.
My husband came home from work today and said that his card was declined for gas and then his card was declined for purchase at a convenience store. I was confused so I looked up our online banking account. I was very upset to see that our checking account was -$740. This established banking system is supposed to alert their customers to an amount that they choose to alert them. I was supposed to be notified when my checking account was lower than $250. That did not happen. What is the problem? I should have been notified yet. I was not. I have anxiety and issues with depression. I count on my online banking system. I count on the Prairie de Rocher, Illinois, Buena Vista National Bankto take care of me in these matters. This may not seem very crucial to you, but it was very upsetting to me. What happened??? I want this issue to be addressed, please! I have to be accountable for my actions and my state of mind. I think they need to be held accountable for their actions. Thank you for listening and thank you in advance for taking action to resolve this issue.

Needs more options
I have been a user with Buena Vista since i was 15. I have never had any serious troubles with the app other than the lack of options or the mobile uploading.
I would like Buena Vista to update there app like Dieterich Banks app. On Dieterich, when you open the app it automatically goes to a numerical passcode to open the app, then on the app you can see your routing number and account number, you can also activate and deactivate your card whenever you want(if you lose it and then you find it again this is a great feature). These features would bring so much availability and time for the user to be able to have power over there money. The Buena Vista app is boring and you dont get much information off it. I would like to have full access to my account through my app. I dont wanna change banks, but im also thinking maybe i should if these improvements cant be added.
