The sound identifier does not work
I downloaded this app for the reason of identifying insects, at night, by their sounds/calls. I tried 3 different times, and it did not work at all. When I would hit playback, no sound would play; furthermore, it would say no insect detected. So, I am going to be uninstalling this app. I am going to stick with the Seek app, and Google for identifying insects.

Paid $4.99 to find out which annoying bug is near my house every night. I still don’t know.

What, no free trial??
I’m not about to pay upfront to use an app I’ve never heard of. Offer a free trial of seven days (or even three), and I’ll pay for it if I like it.

I never got a chance to test this app as off the bat it wanted payment. Not even 1 try before you buy test.
For Sounds, Waste of Money
I bought the $4.99 version to help identify the sound of many calling insects in our backyard. Despite a chorus of bugs, it picked up nothing. Varied the types of connection (WiFi, 5G) and the location. They should offer a free trial because that was a waste of my time and money.

This app has yet to identify just one sound! I’ve been up close to the insect and it still could not identify! Don’t waste your money!!!
The audio function does not work. I have a pro 16 and there was plenty of sound and it still didn’t
This app using an iPhone 16 Pro was unable to determine sound when there are plenty of crickets making noise

Doesn’t detect a bug by sound when I can hear it clear as day.
