Not worth the money

I’m sorry you had this experience but what you have described doesn’t sound anything like my app. The app is very simple to use and I will be happy to explain a few things. All you need to do is, log in - enroll in one of the programs or challenges and press play. You can choose between following my full length workout videos which are totally unique to every single program. I am one of the few trainers who do these programs from start to finish with you and there is nothing mashed together to create an illusion. There are instructions in the overview for each workout which are meant to be of assistance to beginners but they can easily be ignored and it’s definitely not “pages” like the reviewer suggests. More like a few sentences explaining what equipment is needed and tips for proper form. At no point do you need to search for workouts in the app. There is nothing at all in the app that would even suggest that. The whole point is to enroll in one of the programs which I’ve designed to give you effective results. Once you enroll a schedule will be created, your calendar will become populated and all you need to do is press “start”. It doesn’t sound like you were enrolling in a program and you were just looking at random workouts on the app and thinking you needed to search for the days. Really, all you needed to do was go to the “Programs” section of the app instead of looking at “Workouts” section. You must not have spent enough time on the app to realize this. If you create your subscription on the website you will need to cancel it on the website. I’m sorry, but that’s just the way that has to be and there’s no way to change it. There is a confirmation box at checkout that states this and asks you to agree that you understand it before you are permitted to create your subscription.

Easy & Challenging
Thanks Becky (and Marc😉).
Love love love!
Customer support does not work
The emails could possibly be wrong? I have tried accounts@builtbybecky. I always get notification they have received the support request then nothing.
The app needs lots of improvement for the $20 subscription
So first, I work out mostly with user progressed. Many times the exercises are actually standard, not a superset etc but the app for some reason makes me do each exercises one set each. So normally it should be one exercise and repeat it 3-4 times, but many times it makes me go through all exercises with just one set.
Second, when exercises are connected into a superset, many times it does not allow you to substitute an exercise that’s inside it. Sometimes it allows one, but usually not the one I’d wanna switch out.
Third, sometimes I take a break in between the sets and go use a different app and when I get back to the BBB app (maybe 3-5 mins later), it quit my whole workout. I have to start it again and keep clicking until I get to the point I was in.
These maybe are small things but for a $20 dollar app I’d except that these should not happen. I’m hoping Becky will see this feedback and improve the app further!

I’m sorry you had this experience but I wish you would message me - for the life of me I can’t figure out which program you encountered the issue with the workouts only doing 1 set each. I’ve never heard of anyone else having that issue on the programs. It’s easy for me to fix an issue like that so I’d love to know which program it happened on. I do my absolute best to provide substitutions on the exercises but sometimes it’s hard to think of all of the possibilities. I will do my best to improve on this. I will talk with the app developers about correcting your issue with leaving the app for an extended period of time and the workout not saving to where you left off.

Programs are great, app is mediocre

Great for ADHD fit chicks!
While I’m used to lifting with heavier weights, I always feel like I got a great workout in, especially with lower body days. I wish some of the upper body workouts were more challenging and “complete” feeling, but I realize this is not on most women’s radars and I can always add exercises in as needed.
I also like the various meal ideas, which helps give me ideas for easy meal-prep when I’m sick of my usual go-tos or just stuck on planning.
Overall the best workout program I’ve used, especially for those with executive functioning deficits. Thank you!!
