This is actually cool!

You maybe won’t make Bullet Hell Tuesday :(

Legendary Schmup

Possibly the best of all time

Would buy levels

But I can’t. They all say unavailable?

Cool game

Heard that there wasn't upgrading. That's kind of a double edged sword. Sure, upgrading was a core mechanic of the game, but it made it so you could ACTUALLY USE all the weapons instead of lock-on being entirely unused until you've 100%'d the game.
Additionally, the addition of all SP, in my opinion, makes the player able to be more tactical in what SP combos they use and leaves way for more skilled gameplay.

Also I'm poor :)

Epic

Game is easily worth more than 7 bucks (now if only I had 7 bucks for the rest of the levels)

I like it but..

I went into the game expecting it to be free but it’s not, I’d rather it just be 7 dollars than have my hopes let down when I can’t play level 2

Why

Why do I have to pay for the stages

Perfection

As good as any bullet hell shmup out there. On par with the Touhou games and dare I say it, as good as the Cave arcade originals.
Reminds me of Mushihimesama Futari Black Edition on the Xbox (NTSC-J version) in that the bosses, cant be beaten by using the usual few seconds of invulnerability the player gets after losing a life - in that, the boss can’t be shot while the player is like this.
Result - to finish this on the hardest setting will require some serious skill. And that’s before you start going for high scores, beating bosses without firing a shot etc.

Brilliant game. But if you just want a vertical scroller, yeah you’re probably not going to enjoy getting killed non stop, over and over and over. This genre takes A LOT of practice. And I really do emphasis just how much practice you need - Bullet Hell Japanese shooters are amongst the hardest most skill intensive games ever made. And I doubt anyone would disagree on this.
If TouHou, Espagaluda, DeathSmiles, Mushihimesama etc are your thing - YOU WILL BLOODY LOVE THIS ONE.
Well done guys- epic shooter !!

Great bullet hell

Good game definitely recommend it. I love bullet hell games

Gorgeous bullet dodging game

I bought the full game and it was the best bullet hell experience on mobile! It has amazing graphics and level design! The game may be sort, but the replayability is long. Although there’s no upgrade system, I had no problem with it since it gave me challenging but rewarding experience. The weapons from the last game got transformed into special weapons which gives abilities like slowing down time and making a barrier blocking you from enemy’s bullets. However, I have small criticism. Although the special weapons were cool, in the final stage/level, it feels like you’re forced to use them since bullets and lasers comes throwing at your face. The fact that you can support developers by buying the Ultra and Premium Supporter giving you perks like a music box that allows you to hear the game OST and changing the speed of the replay sounds cool, but why do I have to pay for the Ultra Supporter to unlock the music box if I can hear the soundtrack for free on Spotify, SoundCloud, or even YouTube? The first game allowed you to play the OST for almost free! That doesn’t sound like a good perk you get for supporting the developer. Just make it so that the Ultra Supporter gives you a more reasonable perk like having the ability to change the hit box or spaceship color! The game is VERY difficult... for newcomers. The game is easy if you played a bullet hell game before (like me) and memorize the bullet patterns from replayability, but if this is your first bullet hell game, you’ll run into bullets and die a lot. PLEASE, the game is not RECOMMEND if this is your first rodeo! Despite all the tiny flaws, you should still play and buy the unlock all stages if you like dodging bullets on screen.

What a game!

Very nice game

Its cool

Still a good Shump game, my only complaints are that some of the main weapons are now just simple powerups; and the timers for the new weapons dont count if the app isnt open. Otherwise I love it

This is...amazing

I very seriously feel you should charge money for this, this is not a remix but a full SEQUEL to bhm, the new controls seem crazy fun, will update after i do more. while i miss the upgrade process, i strongly feel anyone who p,ayed the original bhm would be trading up by playing this.

Great but lacked in quite a few aspects compared to the original.

So far, I am enjoying this game, it's great fun, it's added new enjoyable features & implements 5 different difficulties for each level, unlike the original game which reserves this option for the 6 challenge levels.

However, this game falls short in quite a few key aspects when compared to the original. First & foremost, the $10.99 micro-transaction that allows you to play Stage 2 & beyond in Play mode is rediculus in price. The transaction in the original equivalent unlocks everything & the player can choose to play the whole game without purchasing it if they so desired, much unlike this free to download game which forces you to pay $10.99 to continue playing. To at least make the price a tad more justifiable, maybe make it so that it unlocks the two other weapons as well.

On the topic of weapons, why does this game only have 4 compared to the original's 9? For a succeeding game to Bullet Hell Monday, wouldn't one expect to see the return of weapon types such as the Search-type, Lock-On-type or even the Blade-type? Maybe I haven't reached a point in the game where more weapons are shown and if that's the case, then I redact this paragraph.

In conclusion, I hope the developers read this and consider what has been said here in this review. And to any potential player looking for a good bullet hell game, you've found it. But keep in mind you'll have to fork out $10.99 to play the full game and would highly recommend Bullet Hell Monday, this games predecessor, as opposed to this game if you want content and minimal need to spend money.

Overall Well Made

This game’s one of my favourite mobile bullet hells/shmups. I’ve played the earlier games and enjoy each one of them. The soundtrack is also a big plus!
In conclusion, I really enjoyed playing as it’s a well made and enjoyable game overall! :D

A Great Update to the Original!

I initially gave the game only 3 stars, but I have spent more time playing the game. I am a fan of this genre, and there are too few of these games available on the store. This is a very, very good one, and I can finally totally recommend this. The game play is difficult, but most BH games are!

The graphics are excellent, great sound and a very professionally developed game.

This would be a good purchase if you enjoy these types of games, I only ask for one improvement please. Can you make the hud / SP gauge transparent. So the end user has a slider option to make make it transparent if they require?

Thank you again for all the effort and work that you have done here!

My best regards, Mark.

Awesome

This Black remix version is definitely for the hardcore BHM players. To the bum whining about the price tag, go get a job, entitled cretin. This game is worth more than $7.

You have to pay 7$ to get past stage 1

I’m not getting this game again unless you make it IAPs different than this. I was a fan of the original B.H.MONDAY, and this was so fun! Maybe make the purchase like an unlock all or smth.

Fantastic Action!

Spectacular shmup!

White-Knuckle Bullet Hell

This game is the antithesis of CASUAL! ;D It’s an adrenaline-pumping Bullet Hell experience. The visuals are stunning, the bullet patterns are challenging & the music rocks. I WISH an UPGRADE SYSTEM would be included similar to the original game. I enjoy grinding levels to improve my ship. I thank the DEV for supporting iCloud sync.
