Stopped working
The app worked initially and then just stopped connecting. When I open the app, it asked to connect and then just closes automatically now. This is horrible.
Waste of money
Spent $300 for nothing, worked at first then nothing not user friendly at all. Save your $$.
It’s time to update the app again
It worked great for a few months then wouldn’t work at all- then the app got updated and it was great again. Then they updated the app again and while it still worked, I hated the weird dial for setting the temperature- I couldn’t get it where I wanted it- and for some reason they completely removed the ability to control the lights 😖
Still no control for the volume on the speakers (which I really really would like)

Incredibly disappointing
This app is almost worthless. It works only about 10% of the time and only after repeated attempts to change the setting. Lately it’s just been crashing without doing anything. It’s profoundly disappointing, especially for a premium spa like Bullfrog. They need to fix this if they want repeat customers!

The app just doesn’t work.
Complete waste of money
I agree with the other reviews- I wish I’d never gotten this upgrade. It was a pathetic app that didn’t work when I got the tub (which I love), and they haven’t fine a single upgrade in years. Still terrible. I can’t even see what the temp is, let alone control anything. Useless app.
Finally working!
After 2 years of frustration as detailed by multiple reviewers, with connection to the spa never lasting longer than a day or two, I’ve now been continuously connected for the last year. Nothing changed on my end, same router and distance. I think they must have updated the firmware or the app.
The app works but needs updating
I bought the WiFi adapter 6 months ago and installed it myself. Got the WiFi setup and online within a few minutes. The app is easy to use but it missing key features like away mode and a schedule so I can have my tub at the temp I want it when I use it the most. And a chemical reminder. Please get this updated ASAP. A billion dollar company can surly afford these simple requests.

Won’t connect to my home network
As others have said this app won’t configure to work off my home network. I can connect directly to the tub to manage it, but not through my home network. I’m on iOS12.1. Please fix.

Why even bother promoting or pretending to have functionality that doesn’t actually work?
This is terrible for the bullfrog brand. An otherwise excellent hot tub, is rendered questionable by the awful business decision to pretend they have cloud control, but are either unable or unwilling to get the right hardware and/or software to make it actually work.
Seriously, Bullfrog, take the app down, and quit selling this option. It’s not an actual product that you are willing to invest in and make it work... it just makes the brand look bad pretending to have this functionality. I’m embarrassed FOR you guys for these terrible business decisions.

Has worked great
Once my spa was up and running I opened the app and configured it to attach to my network and I haven’t had a connection issue since except when the GFI test shut down the spa. I do wish I had better control of the lights so I could pick the setting I want and not have to go through all the choices every time.

Complete piece of shi#
I have about 100 apps on my phone and this is by far the worst one, it’s completely useless. I have no idea how well the functionally works, because the connectivity simply doesn’t. It’s so bad, all the developers should be fired or forced to set themselves on fire.
Poor Product & App
Spa’s WiFi module needs a firmware update to fix a connectivity issue. System goes offline in power save mode and fails to reconnect until power cycled.
Worst App Ever?
It took me fifteen minutes to connect to the WiFi it was broadcasting. Then it wouldn’t connect to my own network. I have a very new router and the signal is 100mbps around my hot tub. I can stream 4K videos to the patio TV.
It connects maybe 5% of the time. It’s fleeting at best. I can’t tell what’s going on with the WiFi module because it still have an assigned IP by my router.
The whole point is that it should just work, but it doesn’t. Awful waste of money. I got this because my control panel is not easily accessible. Poor choice.

Vraiment très mauvais!
N’achetez pas le module wifi si vous comptez opérer votre spa à partir de l’extérieur de votre réseau wifi. J’ai perdu tellement d’heures à essayé de faire fonctionner mon spa avec mon iPhone. Vous devrez utiliser les contrôles sur le spa, même en hiver. Pour moi, c’est purement et simplement une arnaque.

Zero stars - worst cloud device ever
Never stays connected - like other review you have to CONSTANTLY reconnect and reprogram your hot tub - which has ruined the whole hot tub ownership for me as I am not home a lot to keep fumbling with WiFi....
Was working good for me but no longer works.
