Great app if you’re serious

You see NOTHING unless you pay
Setting up my basic profile took forever because the app kept glitching. Then, once everything was set up, I had to watch a video just to see one like. To move to the next, I had to either pay $2.99 or wait an hour for another video. That’s insane and not how other apps work. I love the idea but truly this is not going to be something I want to pay for since I’ve not even gotten enough experience with it to know if it’s worth getting behind the paywall.

This app has been refreshing compared to other datings apps that are more known I appreciate the back to basics feel on this app and just feeling good talking to people hoping that one of them will be my soulmate. One feedback I would like to impose is to be able to customize boost for example you choose what continents will be able to see you while you are in boost and filter it as you can do when you search . Besides that my first month of this app has been great not perfect. But there is no such thing as perfect. This has become my Go to dating app.

I had a terrifying experience after using this app. Two years ago, in October 2024, while I was a senior in college and recovering from a difficult July breakup with my online British ex-boyfriend, I went on Bumpy and matched with a guy who claimed to be British. At first, it seemed okay. We exchanged our WhatsApp and followed each other on Instagram, but then things started to change.
He repeatedly pressured me to send intimate photos. After constant pressure, I sent one picture just to get him to stop. When he continued demanding more, I blocked him. Shortly afterward, he contacted me again and threatened to post the intimate photo online unless I paid him $600. He then confessed that he had catfished me and was actually from Pakistan.
The situation became so serious that I had to involve my parents, my college, campus police, and even the FBI. It was one of the most frightening experiences of my life.
I’m not saying the app itself committed this crime, but I encourage everyone to be extremely cautious when talking to strangers online. Verify who you’re speaking with, never let anyone pressure you into sending intimate images, and if someone threatens or blackmails you, do not pay them, please report it to law enforcement immediately.
This experience has made me think twice about using dating apps, and I would not recommend this one based on what happened to me. Do better, Bumpy. Do not let fake profiles into your app!

Glitch
When given the offer to watch a video to receive a heart or reveal a person it doesn’t allow you. The video need then you can’t hit “x”.
Disappointed
I’ve used this app several times over a course of a couple of years. They’ve made major changes and now basically without saying it require you to buy the premium service to get any kind of likes. there’s better apps that charge less money and don’t make you use their premium version to have success. Looks like I’ll be finding love elsewhere.

APP NOT OPENING
its always stuck on the logo page and not opening. Tried deleting and reinstalling it and still doesnt work. Tried on different phone and ipad still same issue.
