Thanks for calling this out - you were absolutely right, and we appreciate the feedback. At the time of your review, the unsubscribe / notification opt-out experience was not where it needed to be. We’ve since fixed this and significantly improved it. You can now manage notification and email preferences much more easily (including on the web), without the friction you described. Thank you for this thoughtful feedback - and for being excited about the concept. We really appreciate that. You also called out real issues. At the time, parts of the app experience were not as polished as they should have been (including profile photo handling, interest tag saving, and general usability). We've made major improvements since then, including bug fixes and a much smoother overall experience. On the activity side: you're absolutely right that social apps depend on local momentum. We've continued growing the community and improving the experience in Jersey City / Hoboken, and there’s a lot more happening now than when this review was posted.
