What's New in Burn 10

4.2.0

October 16, 2026

Version 4.2.0 A new look • A new app icon. The flame "10" on this page is now the icon every install starts with, and the previous icon is still earnable as "Original" once you set three personal records. • Onboarding has been rebuilt with the same explanation rows the rest of the app uses, a clearer Apple Health page, and a heads-up that reminders are offered after your first logged activity. • When your activity list is empty, Home now points you straight to the library or to a custom activity instead of showing a blank day. A rebuilt finish-and-reward experience • The screen after a session is new. Your points count up, a ten-segment meter fills in, and the tenth segment lights up the moment you cross 10 for the day. • Personal records and newly unlocked achievements appear right there, inline, instead of interrupting you with a separate popup. • Undo is available on any session you just finished, and it fully reverses the points, streak, and bank changes. • Share a Burn 10 card for any session from the results screen or from History, or share an activity's own setup from My Activities. • Finishing a strength session with sets filled in but not checked off now asks whether to log them, finish without them, or keep going, instead of stalling. More than workouts • The built-in library covers studying, personal goals, habits, and chores alongside training. Duplicate entries are hidden, and the category filters follow the order you set. • Any activity can carry a negative value, so slipping on something you are trying to quit actually costs you points. • Activity icons are grouped by type, and the color picker takes any hue alongside the palette. • Activity notes show in the session header while you work, and long names and notes wrap instead of being cut off. Smarter progress • Activity progress charts show what you actually recorded: estimated one-rep max, volume, max weight, reps, duration, or completions, depending on how the activity is tracked. • A session's detail in History shows how much that one activity contributed to the day's 10-point goal. • Hit the daily point cap every day for a week and Home offers a quiet review of your point values. Burn 10 never changes them on its own. • The all-time stats in History have their own section, with lifetime points as the headline. Sound and celebration • New sound effects for completing a set, crossing your daily goal, and unlocking an achievement, with separate toggles for sound and haptics in Settings. • The achievement unlock sheet has been redesigned and scrolls correctly on smaller screens. • Hitting your daily goal outside a session shows a clear banner instead of a translucent overlay. Reliability and polish • Turning notifications off in Settings now silences everything, rest-timer alerts included. • Reminders no longer appear on top of you while the app is open, and step-goal celebrations held by quiet hours no longer arrive the next morning. • Personal-record detection is more accurate and no longer credits records for very short sessions. • Done and Hide Notes in a live session now dismiss the keyboard reliably. • History and activity lists scroll faster, and long sessions use less memory. • Fixes across invite rewards, notification preferences, achievement progress after an upgrade, and iCloud sync, including when the same activity is edited on two devices. • The legal disclaimer has been rewritten as a proper terms document. Thanks for using Burn 10. If something is not working the way you expect, get in touch through the support link on this page.

Helping me the healthiest I’ve ever been

Setting my own goals helps me start small but get small victories. Sometimes I just don’t want to workout but making things achievable while still making me healthy is good for me and I’m a good example for my family.

Incredible

Great updates, very well constructed, and user friendly

Nice

Solid, but could use a battle pass.

Great App But…

This is a really great app and it’s very helpful but, it would be nice if you added customization features. If I have some extra points, I could spend it on customizing colors, maybe a character like buying outfits. This would make me addicted and I would want to work out more so I could customize a character. I also recommend creating a dark mode of the app icon for people you use dark mode.

Response from developer

Hi Aiden, Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! We’ve now added both dark and bright appearance modes, along with several new app icons. We also really liked your customization idea. We’re planning to turn the new icons into unlockable rewards that users can earn through lifetime points, longer streaks, and referring friends to Burn 10. We hope this makes staying active feel even more motivating and rewarding. Thanks again for using Burn 10 and helping us improve it!

Just Amazing

I love this app. It’s just so useful and it organizes all my stuff so well! 10/10 easy!
