Get the bundle. These are great!

My husband and I both use these. iPhone 6 Plus and 7 plus. Never have issues except 1-2 times if my phone had been on vibrate when I went into app there wouldn’t be sound. Turn vibrate off, exit app and go back and it’s perfect. My children love these. 2 and 3 and both with autism. When my son, 2, is having meltdowns sometimes the sound of this book is all that’ll bring him out of it. Works on his fine motor skills too.

No sound

This app has no sound. I can’t find any way to turn on the sound. I am super bummed as I think my son would have really liked it. I am going to be asking for a refund.

Yesss!

So glad the makers decided to update! My son LOVES these books and I haven't updated my iOS because I don't want to lose them!

Mr

No sound on ipad

Enjoyable

Really enjoy this interactive book! I highly recommend all of the Sandra Boynton apps. I read this to my grandson who is 12 months and it really holds his attention.

Cute!

4 year old daughter loves to tap on each word to hear the word read aloud. It gives her the independence to pick which word she wants to hear and to do without me (as I sit and snuggle her tight). It warms my heart when she giggles at the last line.

But not the hippo

Sound shut off and won't turn it back on....this is terrible. Have sound on everything else on my iPad...has to be the app..

Wonderful Collection

My 2 year old looks forward to these great interactive books, thank you!

Quite the crowd pleaser!

We have all of the hard cover Boyntons but when they came out with the App versions i couldn't resist. My 2 year old recognizes them and loves how they come to life with his touch. Well Done! Can we get 15 animals now please?

Less Charming than the others

I have purchased every app Loud Crow has published but this is the first app that felt "phoned in."

It's still cute and I'm sure my wee lads will enjoy it, but it lacks the inventive charm and serendipity of Loud Crow's or Boynton's previous instalments.

GREAT

Just like the rest of the Boynton books, it is FANTASTIC!!!!!

Boynton books are wonderful!

I have always loved Boynton products & it just keeps getting better. I love that all the drawings are interactive, even little things that you wouldn't expect. I think these books are a great way to get little kids to enjoy reading. But bigger kids enjoy them too.

Cute but others better

It is cute but barnyard dance and going to bed book is better. Not as much animation compared to the others

One is never too old to enjoy Boynton

There are 2 children's book authors who have a perfect track record for me. Mo Willems and Sandra Boynton. Anything they make, I will buy sight unseen. That said, this is one of our favorite Boynton books, next to the book that introduced me to her, Blue Hat, Green Hat.

Every app book created by Loud Crow is excellent, and worth every penny. With Sandra there, you're crazy not to buy everything. Her son is one of the people who does the narration of the story, and he's fantastic.

I had the pleasure of corresponding with Sandra about a year or two ago, I wrote her the story of my girls and how much they loved her as babies, and still love her today. She took the time to respond and was kind, funny and it goes down in history as one of the only "celebrity" interactions that I'll remember for the rest of my life.

She's an amazing author, a fantastic woman and her books really are truly wonderful. I know this probably sounds like a shill, but I swear it's not. I just have daughters who love her books, STILL, and they'll be 9 in January.

Pricey and not very Interactive

Cute short story and the narrator's voice is charming. The app is not very interactive and, coupled with the fact that is a very short story, it is way too expensive.

Nice story, awful voice acting

Two stars for the story, the American accent however ruins this little book. There are also, it must be said, more creative and better designed ipad books out there that explore and experiment with the medium, rather than simply trying to replicate print books on the iPad with a few tricks around the edges.

If I want a book, I'll buy a book.

If I pay money for an iPad app, I expect the developer to have taken some initiative and create something fresh and interesting!
