Need a shorts spinner/dryer in the changing areas. Sauna door has been needing attention for quite some time. Pressure in showers is shockingly bad in most. The hygiene around the changing areas is woeful.. a bucket of soapy water thrown over everything and a hose down seem to be the way.
Check the layers of thick grime under the hand rail on the main stair case and when you point it out you are made to look stupid by being told it is down to the heavy use.
No .. it is down to lazy cleaning as the most part of it seems to be ok.
Don’t get me wrong.. for what you pay for the gym it isn’t a bad deal but there is no excuse for any of the above.

Darwen Gym n Pool n Sauna/Steam
Having recently moved to Darwen and joined gym etc after COVID interruption I find the facilities excellent and all the staff I’ve had contact with knowledgeable and personable.As a fella with a few miles on the clock and previously being a member of several well-known members clubs

Poor Preformance
For the last couple of weeks the app has been running really slowly and sometimes crashing out
Good to book on classes but poor notifications
This app is great if the want to book onto classes. Although when you’re on the waiting list for a class, it’s hit & miss whether you receive a notification if a space becomes available. This is obviously a glitch in the app.
