Good app - but they could update it from time to time

Good app - but they could update it from time to time. Maybe add some extra functionality. I think it’s been over 3 years since the last update.

Great app

Use it always !

Great

But could be better if worked on Apple Watch

Great but won’t load in my new phone

Great app. I have a new iPhone 12 and when I try to open the app on the new phone it says it’s no longer available on the App Store. Could the developers fix this so it is available?

Complicated I’m not very intuitive

We use this for our heating and there always seems to be issues just getting it on and off and the timer never seems to work

Overall good but some issues

We used ours to control the central heating - it has a simple, clear interface and can work on more than one phone/tablet in the household. For example, it functions, both on my iPod and my wife’s iPhone.

But our first one failed after about four weeks in a thunderstorm and never recovered. We had to buy a replacement.

And I think a key problem with the user interface is that when you touch the little button to manually switch your connected device on or off - if you hold the button a fraction too long, it replaces the screen with a red tick on the device ready to delete it.

I hold my breath, often, hoping I do not do just that. This feature should have been on a device management tab. I hope the developers will provide an update to make that amendment.

Love them

We have two mats off our bedroom door to small deck around hot tub and they work perfectly. Snow melts away quick and even warm on my feet!

Good product.

Simple to set up. Dependable to use. Multiple uses.

Great product

Very easy to set up and use

Awesome Product

What a difference these mats on the side stairs. No tracking of snow into the house. Would like to see the step mats in 36” lengths.

Boost facility

This is a great app great for most applications the only improvement would be a boost facility to turn heating on for periods of say half hour / one hour.
Thanks

Works really well

From previous reviews, I read concerns around location-specific operation.

These appear to have been fixed. I was overseas recently, and noted that multiple UK-located switches appeared to be functioning correctly to local schedules.

Furthermore, the ‘family’ functionality resolves the issue of switching in multiple locations.

Overall, hooked up with the switches, whilst not being perfect, this is a great and entirely functional app.

WiFi connection fail

Ask to enable location. I couldn’t even get to setup the app

Product doesn’t work / app not helpful

My outdoor plug will not connect to this app. Instructions to fix settings by redirected site doesn’t even apply as those settings are not on the app.

Great scenes but no clock

Product works well. Would be even better with an IFTTT applet or at least a timed switching.

Good App

Really good app. Only negative side so far is inability to set times relative to a particular time zone.
I have a switch in France to control the heating of hot water, but I live in the UK. If I set it to come on at 3pm then it comes on at 3pm UK time not 3pm French time.
Also if I then travel to the US it then comes on at 3pm US time.
Only way round is to keep phone/iPad time locked to French time.

British summer time

Good but still need a few extra bits.

British summer time option or automatically able to switch would be very useful.

Good but room for improvement

A good app that’s intuitive and so far reliable.

Room for improvement though. Needs to allow multiple properties as people don’t just want to switch devices near to them. Can also do with data availability on power consumption for the device being powered for example. That would double confirm it’s in plus help to know the running cost of individual devices.

Updating my review. I’ve now bought about 12 switches to go with this app because I manage multiple properties and want to automate some devices being able to adjust timers easily. I’m finding though that the app makes all devices look the same and it makes it look like they’re all at one property which I’m starting to find confusing so the developer if they want to make sales really needs to consider these things or people like me will just buy another device that goes with another app to separate properties.

Also you need to add a function to be able to turn a device on for a set period and it turns itself off. For example I’m using two with electronic door unlockers and I have to make sure to press on and off whereas id like to have preset it so when I press on to power it, it shuts itself off say after 5 or 10 secs depending on my settings. More flexibility = more sales,

Ok BUT....

Works ok BUT
no help page and no way to delete a programmed time, so when you change the time you want your device to go on/off it adds another program zone. Change again - another zone and pretty soon you have a whole page of program times you don’t want and can’t delete, Sooooo starts getting pretty old not being able to delete unwanted times

Does what it says

Can’t fault the app but after the recent update it is harder to see the status of a switch. It used to say “On” or “Off” but now you have to tap through to the items page and then you’re left with an ambiguous symbol.
