Amazing

I don’t write reviews. Take it from a stranger. This APP is awesome. I’m not sure how it doesn’t have a million downloads. Let me be a test dummy for the future products I know you’ll make. Great work

Safety

Great app for calculating takeoff performance.

Perfect

This is actually so useful

Great App!

I was looking for a weight and balance app. This app gives you so much more as it notes in the title “Performance “. I fly multiple 172s and adding the specifics of a particular aircraft is easy and straightforward . I like the pull of airports and live data and the risk assessment is a nice bonus feature.

Great, thank you.

Appreciate it. Helpful.

Awesome Flight Performance app!

I use this app on every flight with my 1975 C172. A reliable app and it provides the info a pilot needs for planning and during flight. I took the time to hand calc the parameters of my flights to verify agreement with the app a few times, and not once did I get a difference. Highly recommend it!

Best W&B App out there

I have used many different apps and this is by far the best one. I fly a Bonanza and this is such an essential part of my flight planning. I also use the app for my commercial training in a 172 and now my multi in a Baron. Keep up the great work, and thank you for all the hard work. You have many fans!!!

Great App For Pilots

I am currently a student pilot and had to do my first few weight and balance calculations by hand. After that I was allowed to use electronic means of calculating performance. This app has everything you need in one easy to use interface. I use this before all of my flights now and would highly recommend this app to any other pilots!

Nothing short of an amazing app ..they just need to make a nicer App icon

This is a truly amazing and ultra useful app saving you tones of time and making your old convoluted POH useful again. Most importantly you can finally fly safely without having to scratch your head for hours figuring out how to use performance data from your old POH which was never made for the digital era. A million the authors of the app. ..the only thing I’d change is the App icon which makes the app look old and shabby on the App Store page..I think a refresh would help increase downloads. Also I would recommend that the author sends the app for review by aviation bloggers. I think they would promote it for free…such a great app!

Response from developer

Thanks for the complements. The app is free and the source code is published to foster a community effort. It's all volunteers, so we don't have a graphics or social media department. If you have recommendations of aviation bloggers to contact, please send them to info@pohperformance.com.

My “goto” WB calc

Best WB app out their!! Blows away ForeFlight WB tool. A must have for any pilot.

Greatest pilot Performance App

This app is incredible, user friendly, precise, and great for planning flights and getting the data you need. I could not recommend this app enough

Right On!

If you have Web access, it calculates performance data for you. Great app for planning: been using it several years.

A must have!

If you fly 172s, do yourself (and others) a favor and download and use this app. It’s the best there is!

Exactly what I was looking for

I am shocked that this app is free. It’s clean, user friendly, gives accurate results, no ads or other junk, it’s pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Great work and thank you for making this available!

Amazing Work

The above reviewer says it all- this app is amazing. I would only add a couple of capabilities:
1) climb performance in both FPNM as well as FPM using the various flap settings and during departure (Vy), enoute (cruise climb), arrival, and missed approach.
2) the ability to input specific POH data for other GA aircraft/models/etc. Perhaps this could be done in a companion app

Response from developer

The climb performance in FPM and FPM is calculated on the Departure Procedure and Approach Procedure pages (under the Instrument Procedures tab on tablets). Aircraft performance data is not standardized. Even within the Cessna 172 models there are wide differences between the data in older models and newer models. All this requires code. That said, the app is free and the source code is published in order to foster a community effort. Much of the C172 data was entered by volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering to help produce apps for other models, please let us know at info@pohperformance.com.

What a great supplement to ForeFlight!

I use this for takeoff/landing performance calculations, as well as double check Foreflight’s W&B calculations. Great app for GA. I wish they made a C150 version too!

Response from developer

The C172 Performance app now supports several C150 models as well as a 210

Fantastic app

This is the most amazing app I have come across in a long, long time. Very user friendly and with lots of options and it will give you very detail information with lots and lots of data. For performance calculations look no more, this is the best app you will find anywhere else...

Great app for Skyhawks pilots!

This is my second favorite flying app, right after my EFB. If you fly Skyhawks at all, get this app. The only thing it doesn’t do is show you where you are. Everything else related to your flight is there. Departure and destination airport information, cruise times, weather, W&B, crosswinds, whatever you need to know for a safe flight. I have this for both my iPad and Android phone. I just wish they had a 182 Performance app.

Great App!

I have found this app to be easy to use and a helpful planning tool. I haven’t flown general aviation in many years and was excited for the new technology. This app allows for quick and easy W&B and performance calculations along with current weather conditions. I highly recommend it.

Works well but needs improvement

The functionality of this app is great but the UI desperately needs updating. It’s very Windows 95-esque and just needs redesigning to bring it into the 21st century.
