No way to move photos to hidden library
The app does a great job of identifying photos with only a small number of false positives. However, there is no way to move the photos Apple’s own hidden library. Which is such a shame given how good it was at filtering.

Incredibly useful
I have well over 50K photos on my iphone. I was also a Reddit-based adult content creator with a very dedicated fan base. Over time I’ve accumulated a mix of downloaded, AI generated and selfie p**n that I tried to isolate using hidden photos.
Doing this manually is genuinely hard to do, while a mistake can be easy to make and you might not know it’s happened until it’s too late and then someone sees your private parts accidentally. Not at all cool.
Cacti automates the process of cleaning things up and does it automatically, and well. Strongly recommend for anyone wanting to get and keep their junk out of their junk.

Using a lot of data for something that’s not supposed to using data
I recently installed the app and ran the first analysis overnight. When I checked my cellular data usage today, I noticed that Cacti Vault was at the top of the list, using 900 MB. This seems unusual since the app claims to perform its analysis entirely offline. I'm curious about what data might be uploaded or downloaded. The FAQ on the website says some analytics and usage data is shared, but I couldn't find any specific information about this in the documentation.
On a positive note, the app performed well and successfully identified many potentially sensitive photos in my album. Some of the discoveries surprised me or were images I had forgotten about. Moving them to the vault and deleting them from my album was relatively easy!
However, I wish there were an option to adjust the sensitivity, as many of the flagged images were harmless.

A very well polished app
Great app
Love this app but I would go to 5 start if you guys allowed to save videos and edit album covers. Otherwise I cannot fault this app.

This app has some great encryption features for sharing, & I like that it's fully functional w/ cellular data turned off. I am a privacy-nerd, & all these features are great, but it hasn't been updated in 1 year, & seriously needs support to add videos added.

This app is awesome! I am saying that to be fair and because it really is! The app works amazingly for photos but as for videos… the app doesn’t support videos in any way currently. If this could be added I would be absolutely locked into using this app.

Great little app
I don’t have much use for this app but the dev definitely put lots of effort into it and it shows, that AI used picked up a 42 pictures from my library of 20,000 and was super quick. It mainly picked up pictures with skin but none the less it’s a smart algorithm and seems like it works well with little false positives. Good job, keep up the good work!

it’s a very nice app. Smooth UI. easy to use. just need a feature to manually add files to the vault. sometimes it doesn’t detect files that needs to be secured.

It worked pretty good it only missed about 20 out of about 600 ha ha. It needs a duplicate photo finder, they all get mixed up. It’s a decent app there’s none like anywhere in the App Store I searched. High and low far and wide. Thanks again Devs.

Easy and simple process to hide photos
I like how the analysis of the photo gallery pretty much detects all the photos that you’d want to hide, from which you can select which ones you’d want to.
It’s simple and easy, and saves you time, especially when you have around 6500 images in your gallery.

I was searching for an app to hide photos and failed trying about 3-4 apps honestly and yet gave a last chance and installed this and Cactic Vault app is the best app i’ve come across. Loved it

Seems to be really useful
Simple and easy to navigate
Major standout for me was it eliminates the painful process of going through older pictures to put in the vault by running the algorithm, but at the same time gives an option to upload a recently taken picture using clipboard. Overall, a good application!
