What's New in Cadence music player

3.2.3

July 31, 2026

FEATURE: Recently Added is now grouped by when albums arrived. FEATURE: Recently Added, Recently Played and Frequently Played each open with a row of the artists featured in them. FEATURE: Search now opens on your recent searches and a grid of genres to browse, and typing a genre name brings that genre up in the results. FEATURE: Sort your albums and artists. FEATURE: Reorder the queue by dragging. FEATURE: Artist bios, if available, are displayed on artist pages. IMPROVED: Album and artist details are laid out consistently. IMPROVED: Cadence is faster to launch and lighter on your library, with less repeated work while browsing. FIXED: Your favorites could be wiped. If the server returned an error, Cadence read it as an empty favorites list and saved it over the real one. FIXED: Large libraries could be incomplete. A single failed page while loading your albums ended the process early, and the incomplete library was saved as though it were the whole thing. FIXED: One unreadable album, artist or song no longer empties the entire list it arrived in. FIXED: Downloaded music could stop being available offline. Cadence kept its list of downloaded files somewhere the system was free to empty, so the music stayed on your device but became unreachable. FIXED: Resuming where you left off now reports to your server immediately, instead of waiting for the next track. FIXED: Playback no longer starts on its own after recovering from an error if you had paused. FIXED: Your library is no longer downloaded again every time you open the app. FIXED: In CarPlay, the queue keeps up as tracks change, tapping a track after shuffling plays the one you tapped, signing out on your phone takes effect in the car, and screens say what's actually going on instead of "Loading…" indefinitely. FIXED: A failed download is no longer saved as though it were music.

great navidrome ios app

app feels and looks great, no unnecessary sync and no useless features. just direct play and some good organization. i am giving one less star because while i understand this is a personal project made public, leaving out playlist support hurts my soul

Fantastic

I wish all apps were like this. To the point, no nonsense no clutter, very clean and does exactly what I want. Thank you.
