great navidrome ios app
app feels and looks great, no unnecessary sync and no useless features. just direct play and some good organization. i am giving one less star because while i understand this is a personal project made public, leaving out playlist support hurts my soul

Excellent, Opinionated Music Player
There's a bunch of options for Navidrome clients on iOS, but I've found Cadence to be the best. It feels like a polished, native app with some specific opinions on how it should be used. It lacks things like genre and song lists in favour of just Albums and Artists - with the ability to filter to favourites only - and there are barely any settings to customise the UI or playback. The design of Cadence lines up with how I like to listen to music, so these are all positives for me. The one missing feature I do wish was included though, is downloading albums for offline playback on flights.
