A toy without shadows settings…
The app is well done and, with minor fixes, could be better. This said, it’s pointless to use it for showing a product to a client without even a starting setting of shadows. Where are common settins like ambient occlusion, global illumination, caustics, on-ground shadows? How could a render made with this app be useful if all the volumes of the product are flats and inconsistents? And please…please.. give the user the ability to turn on or off the post effects like glow (and something to tweak here too). Sad, I was very impressed by this app. Hope in the future would have more advanced options for designers. As it is right now, it’s just no more than a toy.

Superb
Even though Shapr3D has followed in the footsteps of Cadmio and implemented its own excellent and comprehensive visualization module, I still find Cadmio adds a powerful heft to my design process. Its camera features really give me a presentation option I just can’t get out of Shapr3D, and saves me having to jump into Blender or Unreal Engine to do a full render, whhen all I require is a visual. The options, and the textures and tones look fantastic and I often get complimented on work that looks like it took far more effort than was actually the case.

I want too love it but buggy
I want to love this app but man there are a ton of bugs, crashes and performance issues. Hope they get addressed in the next update.

very limited app
I was surprised that you can't edit the materials and rendering quality didn't seem great. No lighting options, and the different hdris didnt seem to affect lighting much. I'm much more impressed with rendering in Nomad Sculpt. A couple of stars for at least offering a free trial. Sadly the hobbled nature of iOS and the apps available makes an iPad version of pro tools like Keyshot seem very far away. Even Adobe hasn't made a decent iPad version of Photoshop.

Thank you for your review! You can definitely edit materials and even define your custom ones using custom textures. You can also tweak the lighting via the light intensity slider or by applying environment rotation. More lighting tools might be coming in the future.

Buena app. Muy costosa, y la opción para comprarla? Ni siquiera agregan mas texturas. Buscare otras opciones….. no respetan el costo para estudiantes 😡
Payment option problem
Everything is fine with the app but when the free trial end they automatically choose “year subscription plan”without asking me. I was going to choose “monthly subscription” plan if I could. Please help I don’t have that much money.
Too limited
I know it’s supposed to be fast and easy, but materials need to be more editable for this to be useful. The available selection is too limited
Great App
I also use KeyShot which is a full bore rendering soft ware and I use Cadmio to supplement many of my presentations.

Es muy cara la aplicacion, en la web dice que la puede probar gratis pero cuando tocas el boton te envia al Apple Store y es paga a los que los desarrolladores te responden “tenemos una version de estudiantes” aun asi sigue siendo cara y mas para un estudiante. Si la aplicacion fuera para comprar a un precio razonable creo que llegaria a mas gente. Hoy uso Shapr3D con version de estudiante y realmente funciona muy bien, lo unico que no tiene son tantos entornos pero sirve para mostrar rapido como se veria un producto con sus materiales.

So easy to use!
A simple but effective render app. I found Importing from step to be the best. Simple animation is effective. Can’t wait for upgrades and new features.
Great but it needs image mapping functionality
I like this rendering tool, especially the complex environments for product placement.
But being that I couldn’t place an image map on one of the surfaces of my product, I couldn’t make use of this program and I had to cancel my free trial.
Maybe in the future when I have a project without such requirements I will do the monthly subscription for a short time

Masomenos bien
En general la app funciona perfecto, problema que tengo es que al momento de agregar y editar las texturas, estás sólo se pueden editar de manera general. Me parecería bien que se puedan editar por separado a cada objeto.
Otra pregunta… para el desarrollador. Hay alguna posibilidad de añadir más escenarios y texturas de externos?

Crashes
It crashes every ten seconds and I am not able to use it
Awesome - but only usable if you make money using it
Awesome visualization, there is no doubt about it. The only drawback on using it is the price ....

Crash when you import from Dropbox.
Long way to go
Interface is not great for applying textures, glass is pretty lame, environment pop up about reaching the edge of play space is ludicrous. App is not at a level that can justify the cost. Currently worth $20 total.

Super schön und einfach
Ich durfte die App in der Beta testen und bin wirklich überrascht gewesen wie einfach das ganze am Ende ist und wie gut es aussieht. Ich benutz die App gerne für meine 3-D Modelle um sie zu visualisieren. Die Modelle bekommen einen schönen realistischen Touch.
