Terrible for study
Almost useless for studying for the training. It keeps logging out and will not download anything for offline use. Pretty disappointing compared to the other big training outfit.

Doesn’t work offline. Crashes multiple times when online. App closes its self down. Requires login for each opening of the app. Schedule is overly cluttered. Notification do not come through to your device. WHY

Clunky, incomplete and almost unusable. Some docs are poorly scanned, not indexed or searchable. Flight Safety app is so much better! Still no electronic flashcards???
Very clunky
I tried the “pre check in” to skip the check in line at the Dallas West training center. I eventually got it done but the app is full of bugs. When I enter dates for my passport or DOB, once I close the menu, it changes the date. I had to go back several times to set the correct date. Why isn’t there a “download all” button to download all the course documents? My course has a long list of documents for download and I had to download them one at a time.

Worst training app there’s
New updates keep on coming out the store showing new features but I am Not able to access them as the app doesn’t go past the ‘enter email’ stage. Which makes studying very very inconvenient. I even raised a complaint with CAE itself and yet not answer…
Has wrecked access to the online website
The password for the app doesn’t match the website and going to the website to reset the password only works for the app. Getting training docs is a pain.
Completely useless
This app is garbage. Freezes, crashes constantly and, in the few occasions in which it doesn’t, the presentations can’t be opened or are infinitely slow and the DLAs are blank pages. Fix it immediately, it’s making CAE course impossible.

Doesn’t work… Would give negative stars if possible! FlightSafety’s App works well and is 100 times better! Maybe time for my company to switch to FSI as our training provider! You won’t provide paper materials or let us have standalone PDF file! Absolutely unacceptable and I am unable to study your materials before showing up at your training centers!!!

You would think that CAE would at least try to keep up with FSI. This app is atrocious, it logs out, needs another in-app third party program to view docs, it keeps losing docs in the bookshelf that continually need deleting and re downloading. After a few days into my initial class I raised eyebrows when the instructor saw me using the Flight Safety Myflightbag instead of theirs. Hopeless

Just crap! This is what I’m supposed to use for training? 😡
This app worked for the first few times it opened. After that it not won’t even open, it would also make me re enter my login info every S is just a crappy app and I’m supposed to use this for training? Come on CAE fix it, never had any issues with the Bombardier apps before CAE took over. At this point just give me printed materials since I can’t use the AP to access any training materials. Nota happy customer and much prefer Flight Safety and their App and training system.

Completely pointless. Almost as much as recurrent training.
Elementary!
I think the CAE programmers need to look at a FSI app just to see how far behind both the industry and the world they are! Use of this app is “required” for the training but is functionally worthless. Too bad CAE has the exclusive for this airplane; i would take MS FlightSim over this company is it could!! Disappointing for a company like this.

I’m so disappointed with this app. For a company that charges tens of thousands of dollars for training they could at least make an app that stands on its own instead of requiring 3rd party add-on apps. The content is just PDFs, no flash cards or interactive study aids like their competitor.
Useless crappy bloatware
It makes you download yet another 3rd party app to view your stuff, which makes you sign in again, which then doesn’t even work. I’m using my Flight Safety app to study for my CAE course because at least it works.
Multiple issues
Loses login frequently. Can’t download information for offline use. Needs major upgrades. Most information is decent but why no QRH???
