Terrible App
I recently tried to log on to make an online payment on my mortgage. First of all, all that displayed was a cartoon of a house with “welcome home”. There was no way to log in or do anything. What?!! I then went on a search engine and found caliber that way. It did not take my log in credentials. It did not tell me why or what I needed to do. Extremely frustrating! It then directed me click a choice (I chose email) to send me a link to reset my password. I checked my email and there it was, but nothing about resetting password and just took me back to the log in site, which didn’t work the first time. I would give them a big fat zero if I could!

Error Prevents Logging In
I used to be able to use this app but now it throws out a Page Not Found sort of error when you try logging in. Doesn’t even let me get to the point where I can attempt to enter login credentials. I tried deleting the app and redownloading it but that didn’t help. At least I can access things from their website but man it’s frustrating that they obviously care so little about the usability of this app when that’s how many people manage their finances these days.

Works 10% of the Time
If you’re looking for an app that makes it way too difficult to pay your mortgage, you’re in luck! The sign in button creates a pop up that just closes. You click sign in again, it closes again. You update, then it’ll work once or twice. Then it goes back to the same sign in issue.
Worked Fine for Payment
Despite the griping in other reviews, if you’re looking to make a basic payment, the app worked perfectly fine. It logged me in without issue and I was able to get in and make the payment within about 30 seconds. It didn’t take me to a separate browser or give me any problems…I’m using an iPhone and am technologically literate…for reference.

Caliber, do something.
This app used to work fine whenever I needed to pay my mortgage. The past few upgrades it has been nothing but problems. Sometimes logging in is problematic, and this time I can login, but then sits for ever and a day on the “signing in the SD web (SAML)” screen, and the server eventually is not responding. Long story short, you guys prevent me from paying my mortgage. The same problem happens when I use a regular web site. So the problem is not related to the app only. All in all poor experience. I will fall back to sending you guys a paper check, at least I know that works. C’mon guys we live in 2022, this should be a problem anymore. FYI, I am using an iPhone 12 Pro with the latest software version IOS 15.4.1 or I use my iPad Pro with the latest software release, and it does the same thing with safari or Firefox.

This app needs major help
- Face ID has never worked for 14 mo that I have been a customer
- I’m required to enter my password every single time even though I have saved it for that device
- I have been trying to log in for 16 days on the mobile app and it’s saying that I have been logged out and prompts me back to the login
After 4 years of this apps creation, you would think the same bugs wouldn’t be ongoing

Has not worked in weeks
This app is horrible. I have not been able to log in to the site via the app in weeks because every time it tries to verify my credentials it tells me my session has expired and then brings me back to the home page and asks me to input my credentials again. I have tried deleting and redownloading the app and nothing has changed.

Pointless
With this app (and website that isn’t much better) some type of error always occurs where I cannot pay my bill online. At one point there was like a 3 month period where the app just didn’t have any options to make a payment at all. Please fix your app and website. This is annoying I’m just trying to pay bills.

Horrible website and app
I had auto payments. Then the payments had to be made manually online every month. Now I no longer have the option of making payments on the website, I downloaded the app and the same issue occurs. It tells me what I owe but provides no way of submitting a payment. I have to call every month to make a payment. I have complained many times and the problem continues. It’s a waste of my time and of the operators time.

Unable to access loan online
Since my loan was switched to Caliber it’s been a nightmare. The app does not work and always says “sorry we are doing maintenance” it’s been saying that for 4 months. The online portal says the same thing. I’ve been calling customer service for 4 months and their IT department STILL can’t figure it out. WHAT A JOKE! To pay through their phone automated system it takes 5+ minutes just to get through their props.

Broken since Nov 2020 update
Besides the fact that the app is simple a wrapper around a bunch of web pages, whatever they did back in November has broken the application. Authentication doesn’t work at all.
The website isn’t much better. It does work but it’s functionally impotent. I can’t believe that anyone with web design experience built it. It’s just awful.

Horrible and inoperable
If it works you are pushed to the website first. Otherwise you get stuck in a loop that never opens the app or redirects to the website.
Buggy, would be an understatement. It is clear that no quality checks are ever completed or even the user feedback is utilized.

Doesn’t work
Can’t sign in, need a professional app to pay our mortgage and feel comfortable knowing the payment is made. Hate trusting that this is getting done behind the scenes and not even being able to check that the payment went through. Ridiculous! This has been ongoing over a year and how many worthless updates?

Why even have an app
Caliber why do you even have an app? It never works right. Sometimes it will do facial recognition and then others it won’t. Then it says rather than using the app it wants to redirect to the web page. That is the only way I have been able to use this app for months and it’s very frustrating. Fix the app so I can pay my bull easier and you get your money faster. I’m frustrated that I had no choice in who my loan was through after you bought my loan from Veterans United home loans.

Wow, How Bad Can it Get
Who did Caliber engage and engage with to build this app? The business side and the IT side are both incompetent. Or, a more likely scenario, as has been my experience in 22 years of IT work, IT builds a good app, then Marketing steps in to thoroughly muck-up an entire system. Open the app, wait for an eternity for the ad that is supposed to entice the user into refinancing, with no way to escape from the ad for what seems like forever. Next, the app tells you that your loan no longer exists. Fantastic. Wonder how much money was spent for some group of people inside the organization to pat themselves on the back and report to management that the app should be touted as a major accomplishment.

Vastly improved from 6 months ago
The app used to be terrible. They fixed the login and now it doesn't just send you to the website for login. All i wanted was an app to check my balance and payments and now I have it.
Thanks Caliber for improving the app.
But youre not done. Id like to see the payment schedule complete with interest and principle components. Id also like to see an incorporation of the insurance (both liability and mortgage).

Caliber is Anti-Consumer do not use them
Attention potential consumers… Please be advised and run from caliber. They have horrible customer service , their protocols are anti-consumer, and once you finally close on your loan good luck ever getting anything accomplished or speaking to someone that actually has any knowledge or basic understanding of lending. They just read from a script , put you on hold and transfer you to five different people. I am a real estate broker and I will voice this from the top of my lungs and to all my clients, all my past clients, and all my future clients, friends and family never to use caliber!

I had no problems securing a loan through Caliber. Marissa, my loan officer is wonderful.
This app shows my loan is closed. It shows all my uploaded documents (the website doesn’t).
Can I pay my mortgage though this app? No. Nope. Waste of space on my phone.
I got my statement in the mail and had to pay over the phone because the app and website only show that my loan is closed. No servicing. No option to pay when I follow the directions in the FAQ.
I haven’t been notified if my loan has been sold, but they accepted my first payment (again an over the phone payment because nothing shows online).

Dear Caliber - LOOK AT THE REVIEWS
This is the worst app I’ve ever used. They finally updated it so I can actually log in after several months. But now it takes you to the web login through the app, so you have to log back in every time. There is no option to remember your credentials or use Face ID. Caliber flaunts to use their app on their website, using the facade that they are tech savvy and connected. In reality, they obviously don’t care because the app could be so much better and have scales of terrible reviews. I can’t wait to pay off my loan and be done with them for good. By the way, they deleted my last review 🤷🏻♂️

5 steps backwards
The app used to be much better. Now it’s horrible, linking to a web page instead, total black screens while it’s updating, no bio security, etc. You cannot blame this poor development on pandemic resource issues. It’s more like poor design and lack of testing across multiple platforms.
