Good food, horrific app
We are in 2026. There is AI (yuck), tap to pay, and other technological advances that make shopping and buying food so much easier. And yet this app feels like it is stuck in 2010 when “apps”were still short for appetizers. Why is my food not in a cart ready to purchase? Why, if I leave the app for any reason either accidental or not, am I forced to have to RESTART MY WHOLE ORDER? Why are there only 3 hot sauces when there’s an entire “Wall of Flame” at your restaurants? Why hasn’t there been a decent update in like, ever? Get with it already.

I cannot sign up for their app unless I click the two buttons that give them permission to email and text me. BOTH!!!! This is CRIMINAL.
California tortilla app
The California tortilla app is amazing. I love it.
Why did I bother trying?
This app is very poorly designed. Still refuses to accept my existing card number and requires you opt in to both email and SMS spam or otherwise the next button is grayed out. Not worth it. Instant delete.
Reliable and good

Love the store, this version has a huge bug
ASAP checkout is broken. It always says the store doesn’t have enough time to prepare my order. Since the increments are 15 min, then I can’t put an order in because it says the store will be closed even though it doesn’t close for another 40 min. Developers please fix asap
App is awful
Can’t sign up for app, when trying to use phone number it says already in use, but then when I try to login it says not available and reset password not allowed. App literally prevented me from giving them business.

Love visitoibg the store every Tuesday but they have hiked up the price of theor buy 1 get 1 promo to $7 from the original $5. Time for me to move to other fast food.

Pretty awful app, but awesome food
The app is useable but confusing.
For example, some items picture two tacos other just one — as of today, tacos are sold individually (~$5/each). You select back after adding an item to your cart and be whisked to the “choose which location” screen. No worries though, your cart is safe under the location.
The upside is that this app includes a loyalty program where you earn points ($$$ off future purchases). So suffering through the interface and complexity has its rewards.

Since early 2023, this app could not be opened on iPhone.
App won’t open
Crashes on open. Used to work just fine.

App worked flawlessly until a few months ago. Now app image appears on the screen for an instant, then disappears. It never opens.

Keeps Crashing
The app worked fine until just recently. Now it won’t launch at all - keeps crashing. Before this I had no issues with the app and it was easy to use. I’ve uninstalled it, restarted my phone, but still can’t use it.
