Turn into an absolute disaster
I used to love this game. Back when it launched, Call Me a Legend had that perfect mix of addictive idle progression, fun hero collecting, and actually fair PvP that made you feel like you were building something epic. It was one of those rare mobile titles that respected your time and didn’t punish you for not spending money every five minutes.
Fast-forward to now and holy hell, what a catastrophic downfall.
The game is basically unplayable unless you open your wallet. Every single update has been laser-focused on squeezing more cash out of players:
The battle pass that used to be generous? Now it’s a pathetic drip-feed of garbage rewards while the “premium” track is locked behind a $20+ monthly subscription.
New heroes? All paywalled behind absurdly low drop rates or straight-up real-money bundles. The free-to-play heroes are so underpowered they might as well not exist.
PvP is completely broken. Top ranks are dominated by whales who dropped thousands and have heroes maxed out to levels that take normal players literal years to reach.
The bugs are comedy gold at this point. Crashes during ranked matches (losing your points, of course), events that literally don’t work, and a “new” UI that’s somehow more confusing than the old one. The devs keep pumping out flashy trailers for “massive content updates” that turn out to be one new skin and a reskinned event you’ve already played 50 times.
Call Me a Legend didn’t just get worse, it actively betrayed its player base. If you’re still playing this in 2026, you’re either a masochist or you’ve already spent enough that you’re in too deep to quit.
Avoid at all costs. This isn’t a game anymore. It’s a predatory skinner box wearing the corpse of something that used to be fun. Be prepared to watch ads non stop!

Ever since this new developer took over, they have been slowing down the game to steal as much time as possible from people so don’t play this game . I would give them less stars if I could . They are money hungry and made the game very hard to progress with some stupid changes

Game keeps crashing
Have tried deleting and re-downloading the game. Can’t even play for more than 5 seconds before it crashes. Clicking on anything makes it crash. Absolutely unplayable.
Timers and cool-downs.
I don’t know if it’s only me but I think there’s something wrong with the timers/cool-downs. To be specific it’s the one for the random dates.
Bugs?
They update to fix some bugs and create new ones every time. I don’t know how these programmers keep their jobs.
Beauty’s
Sure would like more of the old ways to get beauty’s have at lease 50 that I have at least half of their sards have seen any of their games to collect them.
Bad Developers
Was a good game until DECA development took over. Constantly changing events and introducing new bugs every update. Game so force closes several times a day. They change here lover things like avatars and don’t fix bugs that are over a year old.

This game is designed to waste as much of your time as possible. in the last year and a half or so the developer has slowed down quite a few parts of this game and they are slowing down, intentionally more and more. They don’t care about your time when they want to have you in the game for as much as eight hours a day do not start this game if you haven’t done so already at this point, only people that spend money and a lot of time get ahead in this game. They are making it harder and harder to get any heroes and everything at this time it’s either money or time that you have to waste. the game if full of bugs almost weekly

Incompetent Programmers
Everytime these amateurs touch something they break 5 other things. Too many crashes, too many broken links, and then the compensation provided is worthless compared to time lost. This game has been sold multiple times and now the owners apparently have hired Benny Hill programmers!

The app is fun at times until you eventually do a lot of the same things every day. Reason for one star? It’s depressing to say I was high-rated on this game but I was, until I logged in one day and my account was reset. It’s happened a couple times before and was able to switch back to my account. This time, it has fully reset me. Thank you for wasting my time and not helping me recover it through the support page. If you have a brain, you won’t spend actual money on this game

Love the game, but lost my account
I have played the game for awhile but I haven’t been able to log back into my original account. I have had to create a new account which I don’t play as much, if at all. Spent alot of money only to lose everything.

Alle 3 Wochen die selben Events und keine Chance an andere Ressourcen zu kommen. Kundenservice ebenfalls eine Frechheit. Man meldet Probleme und es juckt keinen. Seit Monaten die selben Bugs aber Updates gibt’s nur für alles was zu zahlen ist dass die auch schön immer mehr Geld bekommen können…! Sowas gehört nicht in den App Store

Most major issues reported have been fixed. Most customer complaints seemed to be address like crashes/logging and character build ups. New content is better than the old stuff. Nice looking beauties.
