It’s good! But could use

I like this app, it works well and is easy to use. I just wish it would send and accept pictures and be able to attach them. That would be my only complaint!

Technically quite sound

Exceptional quality

How difficult could this be?

Worked until it didn’t

Hardly a masterpiece of coding at any stage, this at least made Callcentric practically usable for SMS. Stopped working 2 days ago for no reason. Reinstall doesn’t help. I suspect some settings were changed by Callcentric SMS servers without adjustment to the app. A pain.

Good app. Needs an update

Getting back back out of a message is difficult because the screen size doesn't fit on my 15 pro Max. The back arrow is almost unreachable as its cut off at the top of the screen

Use this for newer iOS

I have this on an iPhone (iOS 15) and it works fine so far (first day of use). The other (older) app also on App Store showed a flashed notification on the screen when I got an SMS but then it disappeared ( not in notification list) and the SMS was not in the app. So it wasn’t truly received. However the older app does work on my old (iOS 12) iPad. In fact they are working concurrently. I was confused because when I signed in to this newer app, it asked to activate SMS on the app on that iPhone and inactivate on all other devices (no other options). So presumably that means you can’t have this newer app active for SMS on more than one device but the older app does not have such restriction??? Speaking of having it active on more than one device: the big downside of that is, the app does not sync so you have to delete or mark as read on each device that is turned on when you get the message. And if the device is not on, then the app on that device will probably never show the message. At least with the older app. So I guess it is really like real SMS as opposed to texting with something like Google Voice, which also uses a phone number but syncs its app among devices. Anyway, it is cool to be able to get SMS on my old landline number that I transferred to Callcentric. The company is excellent by the way. Very reliable. Using for years.

Needs ability to block a number.

This app works well. The one big issue for me is the lack of ability to block a number.

Needs option to block a number

This would be perfect if I could block SMS from a specific number.

Good on iPad

Doesn’t have a blown/stretched look like the other app. I didn’t have much use for the click 2 dial feature. Some people may benefit if they are traveling. I will keep this one for messaging.

Dark Mode people rejoice!

Initial impressions: No glitches and smooth app experience.
