Needs work

I installed this to be able to send and receive SMS messages. This app will only send - Callcentric confirmed there is a problem with the app and it can’t receive SMS messages.

useless: crashes at start

totally useless app

asks to access your contacts, then crashes
cannot be stated

callcentric unfortunately never made in the years any app that was of any use

Not a VoIP app!!!

You are better off using a true VoIP app such as Zoiper. I’ve never understood the advantage of a click2dial app for the user. It incurs double the Callcentric charges plus your cell phone minutes if you choose to receive the callback there.

Great service

UPDATE for newest version: I'm grateful this app is getting attention and nice features. But on my iPad Air, iOS 9 (yeah, old OS) it seems to immediately crash. UPDATE again: after deleting app and reinstalling, it now launches fine. Looks great, totally new!!

I don't need to use this app much but it is really great to have when I do need it, like making long distance calls while I'm at work (without making employer foot the bill for my call). But mostly I use Acrobits SoftPhone app with Callcentric. I've been a customer for years and finally disconnected my landline and ported my number to Callcentric (I used their free NY number before that). Very high quality service.

Does nothing

Can't call out and can't receive inbound calls from app. The desktop app has some interesting voicemail options though.

What are the requirements to use the Callcentric app?

To use the app, you must have an active Callcentric VoIP Service. For the SMS feature, an active SMS Access Plan on your Callcentric Account is also required. The app is designed for iOS devices.

How does the Click2Dial feature work?

Click2Dial is a call bridging feature. You enter a 'Callback Number' (like your iPhone or office phone), dial the 'Destination number', and initiate the callback. The system then calls your 'Callback Number', and upon answering, connects you to the 'Destination Number', effectively bridging the call through your Callcentric service.
