It reads the meal from the plate itself — no barcode, no diary lookup — and turns it into an honest estimate you can correct in one tap, plus a daily budget built around your goal: lose weight, build muscle or simply eat better. Any item that fails our food-class sanity check is flagged "Check this item" instead of shown as a confident answer — absurd results never reach your screen. A SCORE THAT DOESN'T CHANGE ITS MIND The AI only reads what is on the plate; the grade comes from a fixed formula on your device. The same meal scores the same, every time you scan it — and tapping it lists every factor with its exact effect. Portion size doesn't move it: the grade reads what the meal is made of, not how much. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS No account, no sign-up, no password, no user database on our side. Your meals, photos and goals live on this device. We store no photos: each one passes to the AI through our proxy and is not kept there, and the AI provider may hold the request briefly for abuse monitoring under its own terms. Every meal is saved on your device the moment you shoot it, before any network call — a lost connection can never cost you a log. NOTIFICATIONS THAT RESPECT YOU One gentle notification a day at most — never a hunger cue, a guilt trip or a streak threat. Optional Gentle mode hides the numbers whenever you'd rather not; one switch in Settings, and your history and exports stay complete. SUBSCRIPTION AND PRICING Calorie Cam requires a subscription or the one-time Lifetime purchase. • Weekly — $2.99 per week, auto-renewing • Yearly — $29.99 per year, auto-renewing, with a 3-day free trial • Lifetime — $69.99, one-time purchase, not a subscription Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Weekly and yearly plans renew automatically at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your account is charged within 24 hours before that. The 3-day free trial on the yearly plan converts to $29.99 per year when it ends unless you cancel first — we send a reminder 24 hours ahead. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited on purchase. Manage or cancel in Settings, or in your Apple Account. Deleting the app doesn't cancel your subscription. Fair use: up to 150 AI scans per rolling 7 days. Beyond that, scans queue and resume as older ones age out.
