Decent App
The advice portion is a bit mundane. Suggestions would be better if they included foods to get you were you need to be. I often get the same advice daily which doesn’t seem super helpful. A verity would be more helpful.
Overall this is a great way to keep track of what you are eating and a way to motivate you to keep on working toward your health goals. You can’t beat the paid price and for the most part I'm happy with it.

She has: Congestive Heart Failure, COPD and kidney problems so she is on a very low sodium diet with a fluid restriction. She's also diabetic so she needs to watch her carb intake.
The app seems to do well for tracking what she eats but it is seriously lacking at observing and advising for her restrictions.
Good App :))
Response from developer
Thanks for taking the time to review us. Yes, the barcode scanning function is so quick and helpful! We hear you about the sugar feedback. It is a tricky situation for our team of nutritionists actually...we source our food data from multiple sources (Pros = more food data. Cons = not all data sources have the same data available). One of our sources is the USDA official database which has sugar data included in the source data. But their database isn’t always as up-to-date as some third party food databases we purchase. Think of companies that are constantly offering a new snack or drink product for the summer...the USDA is a bit slow to add those to their database. But third party companies are quick to add that information (especially barcode scanning information) and we license that info from their constantly updated database. Unfortunately, those third-party databases sometimes have gaps in some nutrients (often being sugar details). So some of our data doesn’t have sugar data, while some does. Our nutrition team is always working to research and add sugar data (and any other missing data) to fill any gaps in our database. But it taking longer than expected for our small team. Apologies about that.
