About
Yumta is a calorie counter that's honest with you and easy to keep using.
YOUR DAY IS A JAR
Every meal pours in a layer of protein, carbohydrates and fat. You see at a glance how much is left, and Yumta, our mascot, keeps you company while it fills. No rings, no red warnings, no guilt.
LOG THE WAY THAT SUITS YOU
• Search reference data (USDA) and millions of packaged foods (Open Food Facts)
• Scan a barcode, or scan the nutrition label of a product we don't know yet
• Take one photo of your plate and check each food and portion before logging
• Describe a meal in your own words
• Quick add when you only know the calories
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are always there, one tap away.
NUMBERS YOU CAN TRUST
Nutrition values come from food databases, never made up by AI. AI only helps recognise foods and suggest a portion, and every portion stays visible and editable. Every number shows its source.
A PLAN THAT'S HONEST ABOUT TIME
Answer a few questions and get a daily target, protein goal and a realistic date for your goal weight, even at a relaxed pace. Have a number from your dietitian? Use your own daily target and macros instead.
SEE YOUR PROGRESS
• Weight trend that smooths out daily water swings
• A map of every day you logged, coloured against your target
• Milestones for showing up, not for being perfect
WORKS WITH YOUR IPHONE
• Apple Health: saves your meals, reads your weigh-ins and workouts
• Home screen and Lock Screen widgets, Control Center and Siri
• 14 languages, kcal or kJ, kg or lb
• Sign in with Apple; export or delete your data any time
Premium unlocks photo logging, label scanning and describing meals. Search, barcode scanning, the plan and your journey are free.
