What's New in Calorie Pirates
1.6.70
May 14, 2026
What's new in 1.6.70 / Build 138: 1. New feature — "Personal Calorie Goal" (Profile → Edit Stats): Users can select a timeframe (1–24 months) for reaching their target weight. The app then calculates a personalised daily calorie target using Mifflin-St Jeor TDEE minus the deficit required to reach the goal in that timeframe. A red warning appears if the target is too aggressive (below 1200 kcal for females / 1500 kcal for males, weekly loss exceeding 1% of bodyweight, or daily deficit exceeding 1000 kcal). When set, this value overrides the Mifflin baseline as the active calorie target across Home, Food, and Reports screens. 2. Home screen UI refresh: New icons on the four stat tiles (Target, Burned, Eaten, Net). Themed pirate-style border frame applied in dark mode only (light mode unchanged). Macronutrients section reorganised — Fat/Carbs/Protein legend on the left, compass-style pie chart on the right. 3. Bug fixes: • Weight updates made from the Home screen now persist to cloud storage immediately (previously required re-saving from Profile → Edit Stats). • Steps section on Home no longer shows a stray "kg" label. Note: Subtitle, full description, and keywords have been updated as part of this submission for clarity and ASO refinement. All previously addressed App Review items remain in place — in-app Account Deletion (Profile → Delete Account), Privacy Policy and Terms links, and paywall placement. Demo account credentials to test paywall again, if needed (although this was not touched): User: nick@escape9-5.co.uk Pass: Friday99 You can find the paywall by selecting Exercise > Library.
