Great visualization of night shift
I have been using this app for almost a decade. It helped a lot visualizing my time when I worked night shift because of how it handles appointments across multiple days. It made keeping track of when I am working and when I am a day-walker much easier.

I think I saw a notice that this app was recently sold. I know app maintenance lagged in the last few years. I LOVE this app and hope it will be pampered!
My wonderful Calvetica is back
I have used Calvetica over 15 years, finding other calendars awkward. More recently I found a blank Calvetica .

As a long-time user of the Calvetica Calendar since the very first generation of iOS devices, I always find its visual display the best in the category. It’s simple, clean, esthetically pleasing, and most of all, extremely efficient. I’m very glad that someone has taken over the development of this app in recent years. Recent updates and improvement have greatly improved the compatibility and experience. Thank you for the great work, and please keep it up!

I love this calendar! 10 year use!
I have used this calendar for over 10 years. I have used it through the last owner who abandoned it am am delighted to find this new owner. It’s the Best calendar, I have had many. I like to versatility of this calendar and often use the search feature to find when appointments were and at tax time to compute medical driving miles .

UPDATE 2025: had to set Calvetica aside for awhile when I had my iPhone SE, it had trouble with the screen size and buttons were hidden. But I'm on an iPhone 16e and Calvetica is still working. Incredible. Still one of the fastest calendar apps for entry and review.

ORIGINAL circa 2019: When I first got my iPhone, I immediately set about looking for a replacement for the stock iOS calendar app and came across Calvetica: beautiful, fast entry and just what I needed to make sense of my life. When iOS 13 came out and the app started crashing, I thought that was the end. Another dead piece of software to succumb in this new world we live in where things are even more ephemeral. But wow...back from the dead, a new update to fix the issue. Thank you Mysterious Trousers!

Missing calendars
They used to have a great customer support, and I have give them 5 stars since it’s a great calendar. I’ve been using Calvetica everyday for many years now... I think more than 5. Some minor bugs have always been around but nothing too bad, but now there is a strange thing: I can’t see all of my iCloud calendars, just a few of them. I can see them in other apps, but not in Calvetica. I don’t know how to make my other calendars appear, and they don’t answer my emails since two weeks ago. So, not being able to see all my calendars and bad customer support = 1 star. I really hope to get back to Calvetica and give it a 5

I wish this calendar app wasn’t the fastest and easiest to use, as I would have moved to an actively supported different app were it not. Given it is the best designed, I still persist in using it, despite some bugs around reminder notifications.
New iphone , no more problems
I went from an iPhone 7, whose fingerprint button ,apparently occluded the bottom edge of the calendar when I was trying to change an appointment ,making confirmation impossible . I now have an iPhone 14 that is all screen, no fingerprint button . I can make changes as I can see the “ save” bottom edge of the pop up . I have my favorite reliable calendar back ! Yippee!

Best calendar app, hands-down
I truly hate the Apple rolling date/time wheels… back in the day, it took me forever to find a good calendar app. I am so glad I found Calvetica. I love it so much. Thank you for keeping it going!!
I lost everything after my phone update!
It gave me 2 choices without the explanation of consequences. I obviously picked wrong choice.

Can no longer set Default Calendar
Not sure if it’s the recent update of the app or a change in iOS but selecting the default calendar on the appropriate setting screen no longer functions. This adds the step of selecting from the various calendars every time I save a new event - a bit cumbersome. Oh new saviour - do please come to the rescue!

Fantastic, Free, but Apple broke it
This app is amazing, even after one of the recent iOS updates from around 2021 screwed with the screen sizing and made the app much less useful- I still have it pinned and use it to visualize my schedule far more often than the supplemental calendar app I have to use now in order to save edits to events.
If a dev could find all us users a solution I know many would be grateful!

Love it but need help!
I have used Calvetica for years because it is the best I’ve found. However, now birthdays from my contacts are not showing up. I depend on these to remember :) it looks like no one is keeping up with the app maintenance. Do any users know how to fix this?

This has been my to go calendar since about 2009. In ~2020 this calendar was abandoned by the developer and is now a mess.
As many have said, when attempting a change of an entry , a large screen pops up that has no option to delete. Ones only option is to close the app . I have deleted this app multiple times and reinstalled it . Have tried to communicate with the developer but can’t .
