App does not work and no one helped me fix it, I messaged them through the app. iPhones 11 and 16.
No picture on controlling device
This is absolutely ridiculous. I can take a photo remotely. But I can’t see what I’m taking a picture of on my controlling device. Total waste of money.
DOES NOT SHOW LIVE CAMERA VIEW!
Absolutely pointless! I just wanted a bigger screen version of the Apple Watch remote camera app so you can see what the photo will look like. This is just a remote shutter button, and the Bluetooth ones you can buy cheap are better and easier to hide in a photo than holding a phone.
Waste of time and money!

It’s 2024 and still working great
This simple app allows you to take pictures with your iPhone camera, remotely, from an iPad. I use it to photograph pictures that I convert to digital images. I set the iPhone in a mount, over the picture, and use the iPad to center the subject photo under the camera without having to look at the iPhone screen. When I am satisfied with the lighting and positioning. I remotely trigger the iPhone’s camera to capture the shot. I then review the result on the iPad and repeat the process with my next picture.

Buyer beware, this app is very basic and won’t allow you to remote control for videos.

Only operates shutter cannot start a video
I paid $1.99 for an app that does not allow me to use the video function in my iPhone. What the actual heck. I bought it to start recording for a video presentation I need to make. Underwhelmed.
Extremely limited
Basically a remote shutter release. In fact, only a remote shutter release. No image is seen on the controlling device.

No preview on the remote
You can’t see the image on the remote! Use Camera Remote on Apple Watch where you can view the image on the watch, a much better alternative.

Practically Useless
I can do the same thing with a Bluetooth remote. What I need is to be able to see what the first iPhone is seeing from the second one. Why? Because iPhone #1 is st the end of an 18-foot pole and iPhone #2 is at ground level.
