FIX IT PLEASE

I have to second that, used the app for years now when the remote connects i can make changes in the setting but i cannot start recording, it defeats the purpose
of a remote entirely. PLEASE FIX IT!!

Doesn’t work

As per the title, the app simply does not work. It connects to my iPhone, but none of the actual features work. The record button doesn’t work. The focus and light reticles don’t work. Completely pointless app.

Scam

I can’t support a company that secretly rips off their customers. I paid for remote and suddenly it’s completely gone. I will report the actions for fraudulent actions

I paid for the app, I paid for the remote

I paid for both the app and remote. Now I can no longer use the remote unless I pay for a subscription. Total ripoff, total scam. Will never support.

App cant detect my ipad m1

Been trying to Connect my iPad remotely to filmic app on my iPhone 13 Pro max. However, it keeps showing no device detected or found. Big waste of time .

FAQ

What is Remote Legacy?

Remote Legacy is an application designed to provide wireless control and monitoring for specific older versions of Filmic Pro (v7.4.2 and earlier, including Filmic Legacy). It allows you to use a separate iOS device to manage your camera settings, start/stop recordings, and view advanced video analytics.

What are the different modes in Remote Legacy?

Remote Legacy offers three primary modes: Control mode provides full remote camera adjustments, similar to the Filmic Pro interface. Monitor mode offers powerful video analytics like waveform, vectorscope, and histograms. Director mode provides a clean video preview for remote viewing by directors or crew.

What are the system requirements for Remote Legacy?

To use Remote Legacy, you need two iOS devices. One device must be running Filmic Pro v7.4.2 or earlier, and the other must be running Remote Legacy. Both devices must be running iOS 13 or later. The connection is established via Wi-Fi.

Can I use Remote Legacy with the latest version of Filmic Pro?

No, Remote Legacy is designed for use with Filmic Pro v7.4.2 and earlier, including Filmic Legacy. The latest version of Filmic Pro (v7.5 and later) has integrated remote control features directly within the main Filmic Pro application.

How does Remote Legacy connect to Filmic Pro?

Remote Legacy connects to Filmic Pro using Wi-Fi. You can establish a connection either on an existing Wi-Fi network or by setting up a peer-to-peer network if a Wi-Fi network is not available. The app is not cross-platform and requires both devices to be running iOS.
