Camera RX is almost excellent. Has the potential, with a some fine tuning, to be the best manual camera app in the AppStore. I will contact the developer about some bugs and suggestions.

Update kills the app
I was a fairly happy user of this app for a long time. But since I’m on iOS 12, I can’t install the 2019-10 update. As soon as iOS 13 was released, they updated the app so it can’t run on anything before iOS 13? What in the world is that supposed to do for us? iOS 13 is the most buggy, dangerous update that has ever been released for iOS. So this app developer wants to force everyone to update to it immediately. I’m a computer consultant, and I always recommend to my clients and friends but they NEVER install updates when they first come out. You’re just asking for trouble.
So Developer, you’ve also just cut off a huge percentage of your potential market, because there’s millions of people out there that aren’t updating to iOS 13 and they won’t for a while. And millions more that CANNOT update due to older hardware.
Why in the world did you do that???

Love Camera RX!
Hidden gem of a camera app—manual controls so useful for all sorts of photography, for example, macros and night photography. Touch screen to snap photo is very useful as well. Discovering more uses for Camera RX all the time! Highly recommended.

Can only send photos as ig
If you use this app be aware that you can’t send any photos other than ig photos via email. If you need to send photos as jpeg you have to send them from the photo app that came with the phone. It’s pretty inconvenient.
Amazing app. Would like more features.
This app is great. I love how versatile it is. The only I would say is that I’d like some more features added. For example, when there’s some blemishes in the photos, I don’t have any tools to retouch it out.

Overall this is a great app. You’re given control over various aspects that go into the quality of your photo. My only complaint so far is that whenever I try to switch the camera mode over to dual cameras, it crashes the app. Please fix this

I like the uncluttered interface offering rapid and clear control of the manual settings of the camera.
I thought I’d found my new ‘go to’ manual camera app (for the iPhone and iPad); both stills and video.
However, I shoot RAW, and try as I might, I could not shoot RAW with this app. The app crashed every single time I set RAW as the file type for stills. It crashes on the iPhone and iPad every time.
Unfortunately, not shooting raw renders the app unusable for me - there are many alternatives that do.
If the RAW option gets fixed, I’d say this is a very promising and attractive app, but until then it is seriously flawed.

Seems to be limited to 1920x1080
I'm not sure why the creator of a camera app wouldn't use the full capabilities of the device, but that seems to be the case with this one. I really like the dual-axis white balance (very few apps allow adjustment of both color twmp and tint) and the other controls are well-designed. But I can't get the app to use a resolution higher than 1080p (1920x1080 pixels.) WHY? There's no reason for this limitation. Two stars taken away for this, the only flaw I can see so far.

Should've Read The Reviews First
It simply does not work. App opens, you can swipe through the instructions, but can't swipe for the functions. Or tap the screen. Nothing. Tried deleting & re-downloading. Nothing.
Potential but slow.
Could be a fantastic camera app. When it works it's easy to use and very fluid as an aspiring iPhone photographer. But the app is often unresponsive and/or slow. Needs improvement.
Don't buy
The app is useless waist of money. Can't access settings. Can't use it because it gets stuck every time I use it.

When I open the app it just hangs. I tried closing and reopening and it does the same. iOS 10.3.1 iPhone 7 plus
