Not good

Got sold this system when we bought our pool but it hasn’t worked since we got it. It was working when they originally hooked it up but hasn’t worked since. Called today and apparently it’s having issues all over the place and they are supposed to have an update this week that might help. I’m going to see if we can return it.

Trash

Best spend less money for something that works with better support: Blink or Wyze. Neither are great but better than this trash.

Garbage

App does not even open anymore. Camera keeps loosing connection to the internet for some reason and now I can’t even reset it since the app is frozen.

SCAM

I ordered CamerEye Edge and door sensors. Reportedly the order was on backorder for months. Company would not respond to emails for status updates of the order. I called many times, with calls going to voicemail. They never returned phone calls. After threatening to have charges reversed, they finally responded to email, and mailed the order, but rather than sending the model I ordered they sent a much older version, and they never sent the door sensors. The camera I ordered along with the door sensors cost $1300. The camera I received can be purchased on Amazon for $50. I again called and sent emails, but never received response. I had to return the package to the sender, and dispute the charges with my credit card company. Business address listed on the website was a post office address (but not listed as a PO Box). Return address on package received, was an address of an apartment building. BEWARE the company is a SCAM.

Buggy App and Camera

For a device designed to provide “peace of mind for your pool,” the camera and app leave a lot to be desired. Despite being hard-wired, the images are still glitchy. I’ve had to restart the camera multiple times due to the image taking on a blue hue. The history is broken up into 10 minute chunks, so you have to open and review various segments of video to find a particular event. There is a pop up message in the app that appears to be related to a dependency license (“This application is for testing only, but not for commercial use”). Overall, this doesn’t give me peace of mind at all. I’m planning to replace the camera with something different and would not recommend this camera to others.
