I’ve been in the pool service, repair, construction, and remodeling business for over 30 years and this pool automation package is by far the best out there. It works with any pump, any heater, any light, any sanitation system, no matter what manufacturer. Super easy interface and app control. It’s all I sell now

Hard to believe - no push or email notifications.
It’s definitely an improvement over the apps by the “big 3”, but what good is all its smart automation and sensors of one has to open the app several times each day to check if everything is working correctly? It’s hard to believe that after so many versions the app still does not send you any notifications unless you’re actually looking at the open app! Nor does it send email notifications - a basic necessity to notify your pool maintenance company of issues when they arise.
Even a $200 ecobee thermostat will send you an email notification - but a $2500+ pool automation system from Poolside Tech still will not.
I honestly hope that poolside tech will focus on bringing this basic functionality to the app in their next release - instead of becoming distracted with aesthetic-only features as they have been. Apparently they thought that Spotify syncing of lights was more important than notifying the owner and pool maintenance company of a pump failure, bad pool chemistry or a water leak. 🤦♂️
