I just paid $3.99 for this NON WORKING app!
As stated in the subject, I just bought this app, and then I found out it’s so out of date it won’t work with any iOS from the last year or two. Ripoff!

App does work on my phone. The error message says the app developers need to update the application to work. :(
Good, but good be better
This app is good, because you get all the sites in one location instead of going from state, private or park sites. With that said it could have better filters for dogs, showers, etc.

Makes planning a trip in the USA in an RV while sitting at home in the UK a simple task. Camp Finder has been invaluable and has helped make our holidays in the US a real pleasure. The app tells you all you need to know.

No campgrounds found in Rapid City/Custer, SD area. There are tons! I will stick with Allstays.

Love this app and the upgrades are awesome. I like the sorting you can do now, especially by rates. Not sure what the other guy was going on about. I didn't have any problems with using this app on my phone and iPad. Can't wait for my next RV trip!!

Hard to review an app (positively, at least) that has failed to open since purchased last week.

I'm sorry I spent money on this app. As a test I searched areas around where I live that I know have campsites and none appeared in the search. Very disappointing.

Hi Lorobins, I'm sorry you feel Camp Finder is missing campsites. Have you checked your search filters? It's possible you're filtering out lots of campgrounds with your filter choices. I suggest you search without any filters to see if this is the issue. With over 19,000 campgrounds and RV parks in the U.S. we believe we're very comprehensive. However, if we're really missing any campsites we'll reach out to them and add them to our database. Can you be more specific please by naming some you think we are missing? This app has no Canadian sites in the database. Many US sites have no rate info. Will soon delete the app.

Good app, with potential to be great.
I originally posted a review with three stars, but I’m changing that to four based on the fantastic response from the developer to my suggestions and requests. Camping Road Trip clearly wants to make this the app that I love. I asked them to consider adding more options for personal annotations (e.g. "my favorite site is #23 for winter camping (full hookup, protected from winter wind) and #54 in the summer (great beach views).”) and to have personal ratings (I’d like to be able to rate a campground as 1 or 5 stars for me, without necessarily writing a review). They responded immediately with lots of great questions about how I would use these features and I feel very confident that they will do their best to incorporate my ideas into future versions. Very impressed.

This app could be better! If you type in a town name it should give you the closest camps to that town - it does not. If you know the name of the campground then it's fine.
Showers and restrooms!
The most important feature I'm looking for when trying to find a campsite is whether it has showers and restrooms. You cannot search for either of these things in this app. Come on. Waste of $4.00 for me, sadly.
Best Camping and RV app
This is my favorite camping app. I have been traveling across the US in my RV since August. It has never failed me. Quick to use, with all the filters I need I can easily find what I'm looking for. I have several other camping apps but whilst some of the others are useful, this has more information, more reviews and photos so this is my favorite.

Camp Finder
If I could rate this 0 stars I would. It is the worst of the 4 camping apps I have. Why? Because I can drive to the next campground before this app displays it. It is slower than slow. Even scrolling on the map is unacceptably slow. It's speed makes this app frustratingly unusable.
Extremely helpful
Camp Finder is great for locating campgrounds. There are filters that let a person focus on specific attributes if desired. The Get Directions feature gives driving directions. The database of campgrounds is extensive. The app is well worth the small price.

Extremely Helpful. Sometimes Cumbersome.
This app is a must have utility. However, like many of the other reviewers stated, the fact that after "favoriting" a site, you lose your search list and have to restart you search.
Another annoying issue is that it always asks for my password even though i've checked the "remember me" box on the log-in page.
These details are aimed at the developers. For the potential buyers, go for it, it's so worth it.
