NZ with the locals!
This app is by far the best way to connect and see NZ off the tourist trail! The range of different places offered by locals to park up is amazing and so much easier on the travel budget.

Excellent App - highly recommended
Love Campable, I'm a host and I love meeting the people that come - although you don't need to be there and often are not, when we are home we have met so many lovely people from all over the world, sometimes we enjoy a wine with them, sometimes even end up going out for a meal! We've never had even one scrap of rubbish left on our farm.

Used this app successfully
We made 2 bookings successfully for NZ trip and both places were as described with good follow up contact and information from very welcoming hosts. Would use this service again

Seriously Useless
Campgrounds don’t actually exist. No address is given so you can’t actually be certain you are in the right place. Now deleted. Waste of space.
Ok but can’t remove account
We used this App on a recommendation from out campervan hirer.
Stopped using it after a couple of ho hum stops on folks driveways.
We found the locations didn’t match the descriptions and it’s a bit weird just being parked up with the family cars on the drive.
It’s fine for finding campsites and DOC parks.
Our trip has finished and I wanted to remove my details. Not possible via the app so I emailed Campable support and was told they could do it their end. Two emails later I’m told it’s not possible and my details are safe on their system.
Campable have now stopped responding to me since I pointed out that they said they could remove my details. Shame they are not willing to find a solution.
If you’re a bit safety conscious when it comes to online data then be aware of this.

What a great app! I was able to have the best experience possible using Campable in NZ. It is extremely user friendly and the hosts behind the app are amazing! I wouldn't use any other camping app 👍🏽
Great App
Best camping App for NZ. A must have for locals & tourists. App is for travellers & offers hosts bookings management. Host listing & setup of sites must do from a computer. App developers will no doubt add more features soon.
