Free camp sites
Free camp sites used to come up on the app straight away now they don’t why ????
App won’t open and support don’t respond.
I downloaded the app and opened it to set up my account. I couldn’t get past the first page. I messaged the support people on the app and then emailed a few days later. Nearly a week later and still no response. Really poor customer support.
Difficulty Loading Campsites
You literally cannot load campsites 90% of the time. The app works once and then the next time I open the app to use it I cannot find any campsites even though I can see they exist on the CamperMate website. So annoying!!
Useful app for NZ, but badly optimised.
Used this app for finding freedom campsites and holiday parks over my time in New Zealand. It’s ideal for that use. But it’s so badly optimised, at least on a 17 Pro, that it eats through battery life and causes my phone to overheat. I’d recommend ensuring you’ve got access to a charger while using this app, as it’s a fiend for it. Close it from the app drawer when you’re done too.

Missing basics
Maps difficult to navigate. No satellite views. Missing basic information important to camping such as fireplaces, animals allowed etc etc
